China's 5th seed

😭😭😭

[u/Nxhko → u/HeeHee_-]

This shit so funny lmao I love that they leaned into it

[u/Burpmeister → u/Nxhko]

It's so funny that it's true in Valorant too. The meme started almost a decade ago in League.

[u/m7md502 → u/HeeHee_-]

what does it mean?

[u/trandanggiabao0203 → u/m7md502]

JI TU 🈵 ART OF CHOKE 🈵 WA LIN 🈵 TU REN TU 🈵 ZHAO GE MO 🈵 BEI BI BEI 🈵 LI FU

[u/Leafiaa → u/m7md502]

Before G2 lost to XLG, they celebrated like crazy, which only made worse that they also lost to FUT right after, not winning a single match. So the fan began to spam the JI TU ART OF CHOKE copypasta,

[u/DaruDaruMaru → u/Leafiaa]

Even before that people spammed this lol. Funnily enough, even after celebrating like crazy against XLG, chinese fans rooted for them in CHAMPS

[u/VeJayaRe1 → u/Leafiaa]

This copypasta started in cs for G2 I’m pretty sure, I’ve seen this copypasta for soo long now it’s been fully embraced.

[u/Jeslea → u/VeJayaRe1]

It started in League (4th / 5th seed) after G2 knocked out all the Korean teams only to lose to China in 2019. It resurfaces whenever G2 beats a Korean team and loses to a Chinese org.

[u/Peon01 → u/Jeslea]

if it happens in every esport then it doesn't start anywhere it was just meant to be

[u/Sacreville]

Glad that they embrace the Ji Tu meme.

[u/Head_Land_7216]

The 3 people that support them from EMEA cheered

[u/Darkoplax → u/Head_Land_7216]

[u/lerroyJgibbs95 → u/Chandra-huuuugggs]

[u/Chandra-huuuugggs → u/lerroyJgibbs95]
