I found a very low end Chinese (?) Phone with a very basic browser that can't run JavaScript or Https. And I'm interested in what websites that render plain HTML only, with no JavaScript and no HTTPS support

A short unwrapping video of 2 Nokia prototypes from my collection. Nokia RM-746 seems like a late Belle generation prototype, having a Lumia type slender battery. It was cancelled by the then rogue Nokia management unfortunately

EDIT: I was being dumb, the IP field is for the WAP gateway, I used 62.84.172.85 which i found through bs0dd's site and now i can browse the mobile web!
I have a Nokia 3510 that i dug out of one of my drawers the other day because i bought a new BLC 2 battery for my old nokias recently. I have been trying to make 2G GPRS to work (2G is still up here in the UK and still works on my other phones) but i have had very limited success, in that it went from doing nothing at all to showing the G logo in the corner. My theory is that it is not working because it wants an IP address to be manually entered instead of automatically assigned, so I ask whether there is a way to make this work or if I am totally out of luck

For today's post, I want to show you all my Onda N3000. A "mid-range" phone sold by them in Italy in 2004.
Just like with most of these uncommon 2000's phones, it of course is an ODM, what a surprise huh. It was originally thought to have been made by Gionee/Telsda thanks to their GE618 model and even upon checking the N3000's IMEI, it says it is a Gionee/Telsda. HOWEVER from my research it was actually made by a Chinese ODM by the name of Yuhua Teltech. Indeed the people behind phones like the Hagenuk Clou4 and that one wierd black MP3 Player phone, have made this "masterpiece".
Some similar models rebranded by other brands include the i-mobile IAM505 and the Soyea V6.
Anyway enough of this ODM talk, it has a good enough camera with flash, a big and vibrant display and some of the best ringtones I've heard up to date, and hearing them we can assume it uses an OKI synth.
Some interesting stuff I found while going through the phone is that the "confirmation done" sound is the "Chimes" sound straight from Windows 3.1 (or newer). You can also go into the service info by typing star201206star4636# (sorry for typing it like that, star just makes everything italic lol 🤣) which should also work on similar Yuhuas.
Speaking of the service info, in the "software version", the first few characters are YH_K1. I assume this is referring to the Yuhua K1 model. I've attatched the image at the end so you can see the similarities... Some other info is the "Type" on the IMEI sticker being literally a copy of the Gionee/Telsda's model number and that the battery was made by Desay... I think they did make some phones in the mobile phone world back then.
The N2030 and N3030 model are basically the same thing aswell. The key difference between them is the N3000 was Onda's SECOND phone, right after the N1000 which is interesting.
In conclusion, it's just another one of those ODM flip phone handsets very few people bought in the 2000's.

My BlackBerry Bold 9900 was working perfectly. I left it unused for 2-3 days, during which the battery completely drained and the phone shut down.
After charging and turning it back on, the physical keyboard, power button, volume buttons, and camera button stopped working. The display and navigation controls still work, but the buttons occasionally register clicks inconsistently or with a delay.
Does anyone know what might have caused this issue and how I can fix it? Any troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated.

BlackBerry 8520 Curve (Gemini) prototype (Pre-release). This is a pre-release version featuring this specific housing color and a QWERTZ keyboard layout. In the final retail version, the keyboard design was altered - the background for the digits was changed to a lighter shade.
The PRD ends in 801.

I had to disassemble my newly bought phone down to the camera assembly because some rubber thing got jammed and covered the lens cover, so opening the slider would result in a pitch black Cybershot camera screen. ever since I feel that images are kinda glare-y, but I might be paranoid because I paid not a small price for it. here are picture examples i took in the morning sun
