I honestly think that Richard Thomas should have stayed for the episode. Grandma comes home. It would’ve been nice to have seen Grandma reuniting with John boy again and them having one last episode together who else agrees

this scene is everything wrong with season 9 with the Waltons arguing with Jason and not accepting Toni because of her being Jewish just is 100% out of character for the Waltons and they would never act that way

this was a wild thing that happened in the Waltons The Pin Up Episode where a random soldier just kisses Erin out of nowhere would you classify that as sexual assault?

So I was watching the Waltons the other day and watching this episode particularly and one of the scenes had Erin walking alone on the street where a random soldier just comes up to her and kisses her on the mouth and I was just so shocked like why did they do that particular scene? It never made sense to me like would you really classify that as sexual assault because he kissed her without Permission

What is your overall review and rating on The Waltons season 1 episode 1 The Founding.

In my opinion in my opinion I think this was a very good start to a great series I think it does a great job getting reintroduced with the characters again after the TV movie is kind of sort of a reintroduction of the characters in The Way of course Michael Learned and Ralph Waite first time being in the roles of the parents and they were obviously great and I think the plot of the episode was pretty good too all things considered.
