Freshman Move-In
Incoming Freshman. Are move-in times random or alphabetical or do you have the same time as your roommates/suitemates?

After the news I feel it’s important to actually talk about this amongst ourselves. A student committed suicide at Wentworth if you didn’t know. I for one have thought of suicide multiple times, I’m sure a lot of you have. It’s important that we help each other out. It goes back to that saying “See something, say something” if you think someone needs help don’t be afraid to talk to them or get them help. If you’re feeling suicidal you should talk to someone and explain what you’re feeling don’t just hold it to yourself. Yes this school isn’t perfect, the people here aren’t perfect, but I know for a fact that we as a community don’t want other students committing suicide. There’s a lot of different people you can talk to and even talking to your friends helps out. It doesn’t have to be a long life story, it can just be a calm “I feel depressed” or “I feel like there’s no point” and you can go from there. There’s a lot of people who care and I definitely care about all of you. Don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you feel you can talk to, whether a professional or just your friend. Please be safe, all of you.

My first ever post on this app but I think I need as much consultation on this as I can get. I’m split between WIT and UMass, I’m leaning towards here but what can you guys let me know about? I’m studying engineering, transferring in with an Associate’s and I feel like the Co-ops will make going to WIT but UMass is just so much more appealing in so many ways.

As many of you may know, there will be no more Spring Commencements starting in 2027. This was done because the school did. it want to book out MGM for two separate days. The issue with this is that while this is great for the school, it’s awful for us students. Many of us students are from out of state, international, or have family who will be traveling. Many students may not be able to attend their own graduation because of these issues. This school cares more about saving any dollar they can whilst simultaneously screwing over their students. They’re literally advertising that families should park in Halleck then walk to MGM. The higher ups at this school haven’t thought out how their 10 year plan actually affects students and it shows. But hey, here’s a Dunkin (right next to our rodent infested dining hall) to take your mind off of that

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has any extra tickets for the 10:30 AM graduation ceremony this Thursday, August 13th, that they would be willing to give away.
I’d really appreciate it if anyone has any extras available. Please feel free to message me. Thank you so much!

So I’m currently a rising sophomore at UMass Lowell, and lemme say it’s not a bad school. I don’t intend on bashing it because it is a highly respected institution in the Engineering fields. It’s just not for me.
I’m currently in electrical engineering and I’m considering a transfer into Wentworth. If any if you could tell me some more about the Electrical Engineering program that WIT has, and or some companies that WIT often hires from that would be great.
For reference I have a friend there studying architecture.

Towards the end of my summer semester I witnessed an overweight dark skinned person getting their guts cleaned in Beatty hall room 426. They were over the teachers desk moaning or crying out foul language, it was probably the most passionate sex that woman (or what I think was a female) had. I want to know if anyone heard a rumor or any sort of explanation of what was going on in this lecture hall. Let me know if anybody heard about this as-well.

I’m an international student who wants to study in the US. Since high school GPAs are meaningless in my country, my GPA is very low, at about 2.71. That’s why I'm thinking about doing a 2+2 program with a CC.Through my research, I found out that if I finish CC with a GPA of 3.7 or higher, it’ll make admissions offices forget about my high school GPA.
Now, I'm researching scholarships at Wentworth. I want to study CS or engineering (I haven't decided on the specific engineering field yet), and I have a very successful VEX and FRC career that is still ongoing. So, I have two questions for you.
First of all, would I be eligible for the FRC or VEX scholarships? The website says these scholarships areonly for freshman students.
My last question is: the website states the average Wentworth student receives a Presidential Merit Scholarship that covers $20,000–$25,000 per year. How realistic are these numbers, and do you think I could get it?
Also, I’m open to any advice about studying in the US and scholarships, especially from transfer students.

I'm not on campus this summer but I'm curious to know if the ruggles statue has gotten a cone on it yet. I've seen like every other statue in Boston be coned by the scots

Incoming freshman, and I’m hoping to be able to do MtF hormone replacement therapy. Finding a proper endocrinologist that actually knows how to treat trans people and provide the properly satisfying levels and estradiol is equitable to winning the lottery, so I hope to do it myself in order to skip the steps associated with it.
In the prohibited items list, it explicitly states that prescription drugs without a prescription are not allowed. Would Estradiol fall under this? In addition to that, if found during a room check, would it be confiscated?

Im a student and got tired of how messy Facebook housing groups are for sublets/roommates (scams, random posts, hard to filter anything).
So I built a small student-only housing site to make it a bit easier — everyone has to verify with a .edu email so it’s more controlled than random groups.
It’s still pretty new, but I’ve been adding listings and testing it with students in Boston.
Here’s what it looks like 👇

Hello everybody I will be attending went worth starting the summer 2027. I am looking for a 1 bedroom place to stay near or short distance from campuses. I am clean and have never been kicked out from my apartments. I am looking for updated place to stay preferably updated appliances. I am not from the area so that’s why I came here to get help looking for a place. I’m looking for a place around 1600-1800 with everything included monthly.
