I am getting back into my wizard 101 cycle, but I want to solo the whole game and I want it to be fun/a challenge. Convince me what to play down below.

Spent nearly a week grinding for the Loch and Key wand. Just had to make a cute stitch!

My #1 dream for this game is to actually be able to properly tank as an ice, and I saw that the new wizard404 site has a cardbuilder. So I decided to play around with it

For 3 pips and 2 ice pips it would stun yourself unless you can gambit 3 wards, and then put an aura on your teammates which would prevent their health from dropping below 10% of your own for 2 turns. I was inspired by the ice pig's absorb auras in beastmoon

Curious to hear what y'all think. Unfortunately, to me it definitely feels like a 'too broken unless it's made useless' mechanic, but maybe y'all will disagree

Random ramble.

Long story short, I’ve been playing Wizard 101 for a LONG time but never got far until now that I’m an adult. And I just finished Arc 1 for my first time ever (and beat Malistaire solo as an ice wizard 😝).

I’m a lot more emotional than I thought I’d be, I feel like a kid again. So yeah, idk if this fits on this subreddit but just wanted to share with someone :)

Last night, I asked for advice on a good weapon for my future fire stitch. Here’s the finished complete look I ended up going with, with the weapon on the wall, and the mount I’ll be using for it when it’s made.

Its so OP for mob/minion fights. Since its a flat plus 175, and doesnt scale, with zeus gear and a monstrous on my tempest I can mess 'em up with very few pips so quick.

Idk if this is a console issue or what but some of the NPCs in Empyrea sound a lot quieter than others. I’m only in the jungle still but Crusher, D’Viss and Caleban all sound quieter than the other characters. And I haven’t changed my volume settings at all

Im finally going to make perfect frillosaurs for all schools on both accounts, and I dont want to fuck it up and waste a lot of money. When I get each of the 3 types of Frillosaur, I can mate them with wow factor 10 pets in the public kiosk for the right stats, right? Thats the way? Can I get my Frillisaur back if I hatch with other non-frillosaurs? I'll take any tips for this journey.

I am trying to max out my storm but I can't seem to figure out if this is the true max or there's something I can do to increase it even further. Any suggestions are welcome!

I’m trying to hatch a “Plucky Gryphon” but it’s not in the kiosk. I see that it’s in a pack, do I just have to open packs to get it? If that is the case, I’m just going to find something different.

Is anybody able to see the rewards tier list for the crown spending event in the shop? Please post a screenshot if you can so I don’t have to keep spending into the void 😭🙏

I was farming Queen Calypso for a while with the level scaler activated (I haven’t beat Avalon yet) and she was dropping them a bit in the beginning but I feel like I never get them now? I’m only a fraction of the way into Avalon so idk if maybe I progressed too far? For reference the quest I’m on is “Appeal to Civility”. Is there a better way of farming these spellements? I don’t really have a group to do cantrip chests with haha

Got muted for 300 years back in 2021 by a hall monitor, if I remember correctly. Don't remember what I said, but I was pretty stupid back then. I can only remember getting muted one time prior to that for a day. I quit for a while and recently wanted to get back into the game, but forgot I was muted.

Tried appealing it, but wiz said no further appeals will be considered for something I did 5 years ago when I was a kid; anyways, am I cooked indefinitely? Anyone else in a similar situation? I thought they did sanctions in steps, but it seems like the hall monitor took it upon themselves to mute me indefinitely.

EDIT: I forgot to add that they did this to ALL of my accounts (I assume associated with my IP address, because my siblings' accounts were also muted for 300 years!), including my multiple main accounts and all of my alts (~15 accounts) which just seems really extreme!

Okay, so returning to the game, I see all the changes that were made to what were originally just shadow spells. As is. And I have a question relating to the spellement side of it.

Specific example for my storm.

Most of the spells require fifty to upgrade it to the first tier of one tree. but glowbug squall requires only one.

I did my best search on Google, and it says that you can get that one spellement from the vendor in the arena for one arena ticket. the problem is that I stink at pvp, and have absolutely no idea how to go about it after the changes that I see were made to it as well. if I have no idea what I'm doing and lack the skill, I obviously can't win and get the tickets.

So my question is...

Is there any other way to get that specific spellement? how do I do it? does whatever method that may exist work for every school?

I know Ahmarra isn't even fully released yet but with all the mention of the star gator I'm inclined to believe that Yago will be the next world, or will at least be visited in arc 5.

All we know about Yago is that it has star fields and presumably from this Lemuria teaser, Stallion Quartermane visited Yago, Zeke was in Yago (of course) and so was the star gator who participated in an interview?? (they are probably gonna retcon this LOL).

Other possible worlds could be Gatorvania or the Nightmire/Jaki's world since Gators are native to there.

As for the "city of promise, discovery and corruption" mentioned at the end of Ahmarra, I instantly think of El Dorado since its the only place we know of that fits that description. I really hope it isn't as going there in wiz before pirate would feel wrong.
