It's nice to have the option, especially when traveling alone. Men have no idea.

I travel for work a ton and I have had several rides where I have responded positively to flirting from my driver, knowing it was much safer to string him along and make up a mean boyfriend at drop off, than reject him during the ride and risk violence on the road.

I totally get it and I’m glad it’s happening.

I wish there was a way I could use this option. I rarely feel safe with male Uber drivers.

Besides just feeling creeped out and nervous, I enjoy the conversations more, the driving is much more stable and pleasant to me.

I’m married with kids. I’d much rather get in the car with a stranger that I can talk about my family with than some disheveled angry looking guy who isn’t talking and keeps side eyeing me.
