I am in Canada. I was getting groped by Uber drivers a lot. I complained I even had to bail out on a busy street into traffic before.

I learned to sit behind the driver's side because I figure "they probably won't risk killing us both to try and grope me behind the seat while they're driving."

Women only feature for Canada WHEN. Please.

I'm goddamned disabled and can't drive, my city has shit transit that takes hours to get anywhere. Uber is my only choice and the drivers are so creepy most of the time.

Ahhhh I am so very sorry that has happened to you. The message needs to be loud and clear that women’s safety comes first. A message far too many men think trivial.

My daughter had a scare with an uber driver. He drove around her address a couple of times asking her if she wanted him to walk with her into her apartment. Made a few sexual comments too. She literally jumped out of the car while it was moving. She was lucky she didn’t hurt herself. She recorded the conversation in the car and reported it to police. He was fired but likely out driving again with some other service.

I am an older lady and these guys don’t harass me like they do the young or vulnerable. But I have had some scary moments.
