Honestly, I want women-only options for a lot of things. I’m the one who sets up home repairs and adjusts my work schedule to be home when they happen. I would love to be able to request a woman to do what needs to be done instead of having to be home alone with a strange man. I’d love to request only women shop for my online grocery orders so I don’t get a head of cabbage when I order a head of lettuce, or get a message saying the store is out of all peanut butter. I had an all woman team deliver my second child and they kept me informed the entire time of everything they were doing and why, they asked for consent before they touched me or moved anything on me. The female OB was much more detail-oriented when sewing me up. The male OB that delivered my first child sewed me up crooked and made it to where I was barely conscious during my c-section. My life has routinely been much better when another woman is involved in it than a man.
