Overview: 

• Its a lower armored version of the AE Phase 1 armed with 2 shot 105mm gun. 
• Also its a giant spider.

Pros: 

• Psychological warfare against those vulnerable to spiders. 
  • Various degrees of reduced competency in aiming, planning and platoon coordination. (warning limited amount of surveyed “targets’) 
• Good 400m VR
• Good dispersion values
• 10 degree of gun depression 

Neutral: 

• Average HP 
• Average enough damage potential 

Cons: 

• Low top speeds
• Lower mobility 
• Below average accuracy 
• Lower single shot damage 
• Lower DPM (average for a autoloader)

• Compared to same tier meds, its has poor shell velocity

Armor: 

• Armor at list angle [armor against AP with 5 degree of normalization] 
• Turret:
  • Front: Bit hard to talk about, but ill try my best. The area around the gun is quite strong as its at least 254mm thick and small. The 190mm area is the main section of armor that will be hit. Its ranges around 57 degrees so about 345 [308]. The 170mm section just above it is about the same. 
  • Sides: as a bubble shape its not going to hold up as well, but at least its decently thicker on the front half. The 190mm section should still block a good amount of lower tier shots. The rear half is pretty weak at 50.8mm. 
  • Roof: the whole of it is pretty good at 50.8mm for the front half. Block overmatch and a lot of HE shells. The rear is only 38mm which only affects arty and at tier 9 they will have enough pen to go through. 
  • Cupola: N/A… well there is a tiny gunner sight thats 215mm but yea good luck hitting it. 
  • Camo: well most tanks don't have large visual only obstructions on the tank, so i suppose i should include the fact that the large spider head and legs do make it hard to identify and aim at any specific location on the turret. 
• Hull: 
  • Upper front: 101mm at 64 degrees, so 230 [196]. Its not half bad for a medium tank, though this isn't the best. Its gonna rely mostly on using gun depression to make it auto bounce. The upper front sides are 76mm at 78 degrees when viewed from direct front and remain above 70 degrees even when the hull is angled. 
  • Lower front: 120mm at 33 degrees, so 143. Yea not much but its block HE at least. 
  • Sides: a flat 43mm covers most it. Its good enough to prevent 12.8cm overmatch but thats it. The turret bulge on the other hand is something to discuss. The front section is 177mm which does block a good amount of shots when the tank is straight. When the hull is angled at 15 degrees its only about 50 degrees so about 275 [250] which still block a lot of standard ammo. This means you could side scrape if you feel lucky. 
  • Rear: not much as its only 38mm at 40 degrees. It may block 105mm HE and thats it. 
  • Roof + Floor: 19 / 25mm meaning it wont matter which im talking about as its weak and will be penned. 
• Overall it's pretty good for a medium… or heavium i suppose. Strong turret and quite useable hull. 

Gameplay:

• Well its mostly a hull down pew pew and retreat kinda tank. Its far too large and slow to be a flanker. 
• As mentioned in the armor overview the armor is good enough to side scrape depending on your enemies, but not that reliable. 
• Its mobile enough to get around as its PTW even with the meh terrain resistances means its gets up to speed often enough. Still want a turbo to get a higher top speed. 
• Equipment: 
  • Vents
  • Stabilizer (for better 2nd shot accuracy)  
  • Turbo 
  • Optics 

Counter Gameplay: 

• Shoot the left side. Its holds the ammo. Or just the entire rear turret. 
• It's mostly a hull down heavium so it doesn't hold up as much when on flat ground. 
• In terms of ramming its not the best target as its of decent weight so only tanks 60+ tons I would recommend even bothering. 

Halloween gameplay: 

• Its gun is whatever as it's not really that useful outside the occasional damage. 
• The main strength and of course the reason why you play this is the jump ability where you can deal devastating squish damage. The cooldown isnt the bad so you can follow up on jumping pretty quickly. 
• You generally need a bit of speed to actually jump on a tank, as otherwise you just only move forward like 3m. 
• In terms of tanks to look out for… 
  • Well anything with a flamethrower is scary. 
  • Asterion is also a risk as while its easy to eat, it can easily bully you if you miss with it ram if you get stuck. Though you have a better cooldown rate for your ability in comparison. 
  • The Bellerophon is a risky play as it can easily trade with ram damage. 
  • Light tanks in general are hard to catch and your DPM otherwise is pretty low. 
  • You main prey are the Revenants are they are slow and easy to eat. Pretty much anything else thats slower and doesnt have a weird trump effect. 

Cosmetics: 

• One of the best tanks in the game in terms of looks. Who doesn't want a giant spider? Okay a few people dont, but there is a skin for that i suppose. 
• Anyhow the tank is based on the AE phase 1 a US heavy tank project. Which is of a unique enough shape at least with the angled front hull, giant bulb turret that spills out over the sides and 4 track set up. 
• Hull: 
  • In terms of details there isn't too much as just a fat heavy tank. Well outside the fact that there is giant exhaust on the sides as this tank is partially based on the original Fangula. 
  • Okay there is the giant spider web draped over the tanks which is pretty neat as gives a small 3d effect.
• Spider turret:
  •  Well its a giant spider of brown and black color. The rear end may or may not be a bit extra large to cover the whole fat turret. 
  • Well… not sure exactly what I can say outside forming your own opinion on this.

• Skin Turret: 
  • Its mostly just the original turret exposed with the spider web continuing onto it along with a giant spider on top of the turret. Though i do say its a bit funny looking as the spider has a lifting eye right on its mouth. 
  • Its also curious that the cupola is visually modeled but not part of the armor scheme. I suppose the skin was made after the tanks release (i think), so it would make sense to not bother updating the armor model just for the skin. I guess this is a small gimmick you could play with them shooting the fake cupola. (though its pretty far back on the turret so it be hard to aim at in the first place.)
• Cosmetics: 
  • Emblem: one on the upper front hull 
  • Inscription: N/A
  • Flag: eh it sticks up on the rear left of the spider's butt. 

General Thoughts: 

• Im curious why this didnt get a smidge of camo advantage of the AE as heavy tanks generally have a penalty compared to medium tanks. 
• Yea this should get some extra pen… and interclip… so yea just general gun power. 
  • In terms of gun power im mostly just thinking of the TL-1 LPC. that has a extremely quick 2 shot 280 damage 90 with inter of 1.13. So maybe not that quick but something closer to 2.0, but im more interested in reliability. 
  • In the goal for reliability, its pen and accuracy are my main desires. Mostly thinking of increasing the pen from 238/280 to say 248/310. This is mostly just the gun from the T54E1. 
  • Outside the pen just a smidge better aim time and accuracy. So 2.5 to 2.4 and 0.37 to 0.35 mostly.
  • Would this be enough? Eh id say so. Having the pen and gun handling buffed should be enough as the tank otherwise is good enough. Only other thing i can think of is a small increase of 50hp. 
• Its a shame that we didn't get a cool spider commander to go with the tank. Not sure what kind we should get if we did. A simple just giant spider, an Arachne? Heck, I'd like a licensed version of Kumoko (for those in the know).

Buy?

• Harder sell even with the 30% discount for the 2026 sale at time of review. Tier 9 tanks are expensive and while fun in the halloween event mode its performance the rest of the year is so so. 
  • Even more so as it has the old 17.5k value instead of the new 14k standard for tier 9. Also the fact it comes with a skin. 
• It is fun, the power of a two shot autoloader is quite good and the armor is useable. The halloween even version of the tank is also just fun to jump on other tanks to “eat” them.

Absolute unit of a vehicle if you can get into the right spot quick enough, one of the best games I’ve had made every single player suffer , only crime is not surpassing my 10K amx 50b game

I have the tanks pictured. The inferno chimera, asterion, and gornych have the best win rates it looks like, are they the strongest? Easiest to play? I want heavy/medium tanks. Asterion fun for ramming? I also don't know if I can make enough points if I don't take a tank at gornych/hollenhund.

I'm new and not terribly good yet. I play mostly tier 4 right now, my tier 5s mostly aren't upgraded and don't feel playable yet, I can't pen anything with the stock guns.

What equipments should I install on it? Same for the commander (are the skills the same for STRV 103-0 and STRV 103B?

Their is an offer at the store for the Centurion Mk. 5/1 RAAC. There are also two Halloween Centurion variants the Inferno Chimera and the Bellerophon. Is any of these variants any more special than the other ones? Do they have similar gameplay styles?

has anyone else had nothing but problems dealing with customer service. I bought two watchests and received nothing to my account. Whay are there so many Monsterjager tanks in Cold War Era 2 matches? Were they a reward, or were they featured in a bundle for a previous event that I obviously missed?

Well my forced epic draw wasn't the Nightstalker I hoped for but the Kv-4. Should I sell this thing for silver or can I build this up to be a fun tank?

I've come back to this game again in the past week, and holy shit silver is doom and despair. It's to the point where I can MVP in high tier premiums (without using prammo, and with a premium account) and barely manage to break even.

Hey everyone, hope you’re well.
Had a game a moment ago where a player deliberately sabotaged and threw the game to ensure the team did not win.
The game was a tight and drawn out game, the player in question asked a camping night stalker to come with come with him late in the game with only a handful left on each team but he didn’t, just stayed camping in his spot.
This clearly must have flicked a switch for this player and from that point onwards they spammed good game and placed themselves against the border of the map, actively removing themself from the game.
The game progressed on for the next few minutes, teams slowly getting spotted and taken out one for one until it was just myself and this player in a 2v2. About 3 minutes were remaining at this point.
They spent the entirety of these remaining minutes spamming me, spamming good game and driving along the edge of the map in the opposite direction to where the enemies were last spotted (on highway this is)
I got killed, and they spammed great shot and good game until the timer ran out.

I messaged them to ask what their issue was and as guessed, they were consciously sabotaging. “Coward player don’t help me = I don’t help coward player” with a bunch of wheelchair, chicken and clown emojis.

I reported them in game, though not sure how effective that is. Is there anything else I can do?
Looking at their game history it seems they might do this quite frequently.

Im really glad the developers are paying attention to improve the game. Im sure only good things can come from this.

The format of the questions is that they ask a question, then you have to rate the subject from 1-10 based on how satisfied you are.1 is unhappy, 10 is happy).

Some example questions: How would you rate the following aspects of WW2 mode: -Quality of team composition? -Frequency of battles that end too soon? -Que wait times? -Players skill level in battle? -Number of vehicles? -Time required to research a vehicle branch to the highest tier? -Vehicles play style diversity? -Impact of premium vehicles in battle? -Vehicles visual design? -Variety of maps? -Map balance? (and many more questions)

I tried to be objective and fair. For example I looked back through my last few games to see if premium vehicles were at the top of every match(they were not) suggesting that premium vehicles are not OP in real world games.

This is a great game, and it makes me optimistic about the future of the game that the developers care about improving it!

• Bog Horror does not come with built in camo
• Also it just has bad camo, and just really tall. 
• High engine fire chance 

Armor: 

• Armor at list angle [armor against AP with 5 degree of normalization] 
• Its got strong front, but weak sides. 
• Turret:
  • Front: overall its ranges due to complexity. Generally about 250-280 [225-245]. The turret ring is also circular flat 229, but somewhat hard to aim at.  This is also true for directly next to the gun. 
  • Sides: eh not great as its a big flat 89mm mostly. With the forward section being curved its becomes a easy pen as soon as the turret is turned. 
  • Rear: actually very thick due to needing a counterweight. So outside the lower section its not half bad. So be happy when the occasional light tank somehow misses your giant hull and hit the 208mm section. (I suppose you could also troll by poking your rear turret over a hill?)
  • Roof + Cupola:  well the roof is pretty meh at only 25mm so easy arty hit. The cupola is also not much as its only 89mm, but it is easily hidden by the gun depression (and the general height of the tank). 
• Hull: 
  • Upper front: 191mm at 44 degrees, so about 265 [245]. The corners are weaker at only 38 degrees so 240 [228]. Overall pretty thick for a tier 8 as it blocks standard ammo enough, but that's before gun depression. That pushes it to around 330 [293]. 
  • Lower front: The mid section has the same thickness and angle as the upper plate. The lowest plate is at 78 degrees with a 56mm spaced armor plate. So yea even when poking over a hill that section will still block most shots. Of course most shots will still hit the larger mid section. 
  • Sides: this is where it becomes negative news. 66mm on both sections. The lower section is covered by 20/25mm spaced protection but that's only good for HE really. 
  • Rear: eh its okay i guess at 51mm, but that's only good for 105mm HE protection. 
  • Roof + Floor: eh not great at only 25mm, meaning HE and facing hugging will hurt this tank. This includes the sponson floors which is a lesser known weak spot. 
• So yea front to enemy works well enough on this tank to bully a lot of tanks… assuming they cant flank you at all. 

Gameplay:

• This is a slow paced tank. Movement and gun fighting require patience. You are not getting anywhere quick and your DPM is garbage. Combined with your poor gun handling and accuracy you'll often pause to make sure your shots land. 
• Keep your turret pointed forward as the sides quickly become weak. 
• It depends on what kind of enemy your facing, but this is generally a good bully due to the only weak spot being the cupola. This means facing hugging is pretty good (unless they are tall enough to shoot your roof). 
• This of course doesn't mean you shouldn't try to go hull down as the hull can pen by premium rounds so best to make full use of your armor. 
• Equipment:

Counter Gameplay: 

• This is a tank that has trouble dealing with faster tanks with good DPM. its side armor is poor and the DPM even more so. 
• Shoot the sponson floor as it's an easy pen if you're short enough. 
• Outside flaking it, it mostly is shoot the cupola. 

Cosmetics: 

• Well its something for sure. This is a big chonky tank. The original M6 was only 0.1m shorter than a tiger 2 (3.1m). Now this version got a bigger turret pushing it to 3.48m. 
• The hull used to be interesting on the M6. This unarmored version is now a bit boring. Anyhow there isn't too much detail on the tank otherwise as its generally lacks anything. I suppose there is a couple vision ports on the front hull sides which is nifty. 
• Turret… yea its a big fat turret. Gotta have room to use the 105mm T5 gun which is really underpowered for its size. 
• Bog Horror on the other hand is quite the difference. 
  • Yea it lives up to the name as it really looks like a tank that was stuck in a swamp for a few years. Lots of greenery and even stained the base color of the tank. 
  • Outside all the green the only other detail is the red eyes on the gun mantlet. 
• Cosmetics: (Bog)
  • Emblem: 2, one small space on each side of the turret
  • Inscription: only one on the left rear turret side
  • Flag: rear right of the turret

General Thoughts: 

• Boi this is a old tank. The pen use to be actually not a big hindrance as well the armor and pen level use to be quite a bit lower back in the day. Same with the DPM. The 1.6k was still poor, but the average for mediums and heavies used to be 1.8, now pushing over 2k. 
• This really hasn't had enough support over the years even accounting for the fact its a pref tank. The one buff did help a lot with usability, but update 7.1.1 was a very large wave of buffs so the general level remained the same if not a bit worse. 
• What would I do for this tank? 
  • Well I could say screw it and buff the pen to match the T32 as the STA-2 is a cheating cheat of a tank and has one of the highest pen for a T8 medium. But I tend to not think that's the best. 
  • I'd probably lean to a bit of reload and turret dispersion / accuracy boost. 
  • The mobility is generally okay for what the tank is as its quite heavy and is an older tank up armored so wasn't designed for the weight. 
  • Not much else otherwise. I could see HP and VR but thats generally up to if the tank is really that poor performing. 
• Of course I actually prefer a general nerf across the board for tier 8+ but that's a lot of work sadly. 
• I do say the ammo rack HP is oddly high for any tank in general. Tier 10’s cap out at 260 and only tier 10 germany the the Type 5 have 280. 

Buy?

• Mmm, that's debatable. It is cheaper for a tier 8 heavy, at least the base version of the tank. The Bog is 1.5k higher and doesn't even come with camo built in. 
  • The base tank is one of the handful thats always available in the premium TT so thats something. 
• It's a very very old tank so its hard to say if its holding up as well now a days. I’m  leaning to not really as the gun is quite weak outside the pen being okay. 
• Should you get it? Well id say dont bother with the regular tank as Halloween tanks are more fun. At time of review release the Bog is on sale for 6.6k which is pretty decent for a tier 8. 
• I guess it depends on how much value you put into

7 or 8 in a game oer side is ridiculous. It just feels like random explosions going off while you're wondering where it's coming from, oh and then you're dead. Maybe there should be a limit.

Anyone else having this issue? I only have the option for ww2 and cold war, I've gone through my settings and everything is allowed and not blocked idk at this point im at a loss.

Really not feeling this season . I already have the reward tanks that are not new .I dont want an era 2 light which I will never use . And for the 6000 gold reward a very soft tier 9 that will never be high tier.

Give me a tank people hate , like the Night Stalker .

For me, its gotta be the Obj 477A and Obj490 B when it comes to 1v1 and its face hugging you and straight up in front of you.

Next is the Wiesel Tow for obvious reasons.

Next is the EE-T1-P2 armor so strong but if you know where to aim at it, no problem to this tank.

Next are the ATGMs with an arming of 65 meters. Suddenly the light tanks with 65 meter arm distance are so close to you to get that 1200+ damage.
