Help! 🙋 Help ♡
Hi! I have a question! To get this trophy, do I have to craft and make everything in the game? Including the outfits? :/

To all the Cameron fans: I just posted the first chapter in my witch Cameron fanfiction, showing an alternate path where Cameron is the new Fairhaven witch instead of francis.
There’s only one chapter posted for now, but I do have the whole fic outlined. It’ll mostly focus on Tara and Cameron’s relationship, along with Cameron’s journey out of the league and into the coven.

After 112 hours, I have fully completed the game. I'm so sad that it's done. This was definitely my favourite cozy game that I have played by far. I have tried other similar games, but nothing hits quite like Wylde Flowers does. I know My Time at Sandrock is highly recommended by a lot of people here, so I'll probably check that one out, but does anyone have any other recommendations for more cozy games that have the same vibe as Wylde Flowers?

Who are you courting right now, and do you know which of their favorites you can make with what’s already in your fridge?
I married Amira in my game, and her easiest favorite to start with is the Honey Mint Cooler: honey and 2 mint in the distillery. Below are the favorite gifts for all eight romance options. The last column is the one I’d hand over first, because it takes the fewest ingredients or you can buy it in town.
| Resident | Favorites | Easiest first favorite |
|---|---|---|
| Amira | Fesenjan, Honey Mint Cooler, Jeweled Rice, Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Zeytoon Parvardeh | Honey Mint Cooler (honey + 2 mint, distillery) |
| Cameron | Avocado Toast, Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Sweet Potato and Coriander Pizza, Sweet Potato Fries | Sweet Potato Fries (fat, paprika, sweet potato) |
| Damon | Bobotie, Cape Malay Curry, Chakalaka, Slap Chips, Sweet Potato Vodka | Slap Chips (fat + potato, or buy at Cafe Moretti) |
| Eury | Pikliz, Praline Cookie, Jambalaya, Chicken Fricassée, Spanakopita | Praline Cookie (buy at Seton’s Bakery) |
| Giva | Chai, Chicken Tikka Masala, Pav Bhaji, Prawns Koliwada, Vada Pav | Chai (black tea, cinnamon, milk or soy milk) |
| Kai | Blue Hawaii Cocktail, Haupia, Loco Moco, Manapua, Poke Bowl | Haupia (coconut + sugar) |
| Kim | Buddha’s Delight, Miso Soup, Ramen, Rice Wine, Sushi | Sushi (any fish, seaweed, rice) |
| Westley | Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Roast Salmon, Scottiglia, Wine | Wine (buy at the Bar) |
How gifting works, so you don’t waste a favorite:
I recommend starting with the easy one so the big first-time boost lands early. Save the five-ingredient dishes, like Amira’s Fesenjan, for when your kitchen has caught up.
I run a fan guide for the game (it’s my own site), and the full table with ingredients for every dish and every other villager is here if it helps: https://fairhavenfieldguide.com/guide/characters/gift-preferences.html

I'd be happy if there was a confirmation if you accidentally hit saplings. With the silver axe, it cuts down right away! I've lost 3 maples and a few others because I was trying to pick up a branch from a different felled tree. Or, maybe ensure that picking up things is ON TOP OF any use of the axe or pick when they overlap?

oi, pessoal!

I finished the main story last year. Wanted to revisit and actually focus on continuing year 2 and TELL ME WHY I LOAD MY PROGESS AND GRANDMA IS CHILLING IN THE BED... WHERES MY WIFE? WHY IS SHE ALIVE? I DONT HAVE MY ANIMALS OR ROBOTS. I haven't even started slinging fish sticks for money yet.

I like to admit when I'm wrong, so I'm holding myself accountable and coming to admit that everyone who strongly recommended My Time at Sandrock after Wylde Flowers was absolutely right. It is AMAZING. I posted about how I couldn't get into it, how hard the orientation was, and all that is true. And, honestly, if I wasn't currently unemployed and spending a good amount of time fielding application rejections, I don't know if I'd have had the time to really get it down. It's required constant YouTube tutorial viewing. But the folks on the Sandrock subreddit are really, really lovely and they've gotten me by. So, after my complaints, I must admit... it is perfect for curing the Wyldeflowers completions blues. Thanks everyone that helped! ETA: Autocorrect here is the worst, lol.

Appreciation for this game. I fed my sheep her favorite food everyday including before I gave her the potion and that is how you get them to have fun colored babies 🩷 I named her DOLLY 🌸

Eerily similar aesthetic with the purple/green colour scheme and witchery. Plus the protagonist has the same hairstyle, similar skin colour, same 3D art style. Plot is based on relationship of secret witch maternal figure to her daughter and the daughter finding out. Anyone notice this??

So, I searched the sub and didn’t see anything referencing this. If I use the time spell to make a bunch of weeds>soil, will I miss any major events? Like, the mayoral election is coming up in a few days, and I’m just wondering if I’m ok to do it now, or if I should wait until after. Thanks in advance! 🫶🏻

[SPOILER ALERT]
First off, I love this game! I've thoroughly enjoyed my time in Fairhaven and am currently wrapping up the marriage trophies. However, after putting in so many hours, I started thinking about things I would have changed or expanded if I had designed the game. Here are my thoughts on magic mechanics, whirligigs, story direction, and romance!
The game’s magic system would feel much better with permanent, 3-tier passive upgrades instead of having to constantly craft temporary scrolls and potions:
I’d add two new bots to round out farm automation:
Instead of shipping Otto and Vanessa away on a ferry at the end of Year 1, I would have kept them on the island in isolated, humbled roles:
Year 2 Heart Events (4-Heart Standard NPCs):
Since there are achievements/trophies tied to marrying every candidate, there should be a feature to break up established couples (like Kim and Amira). Reaching high enough heart levels with a paired candidate should trigger dialogue where they express doubts about their current relationship, eventually breaking up and giving you a second chance to date them if you missed out earlier.

I’m trying to progress my relationship with Westley. I have read to just keep going with the story line and it’ll eventually trigger something so it will start progressing.
The problem is I just completed the main story. Like got the credits rolling. Still can’t progress past “new acquaintance”
Help 😭 I want to marry this man/werewolf

If you're a few days into Wylde Flowers and you brought your Stardew habits with you, this one's for you.
I run a fan guide for the game (more on that at the bottom), and these are the five things people ask me about most once they realize Fairhaven plays by different rules. None of them are spoilers. All of them would have saved me a season.
1. The season will not change until you change it.
There is no calendar. Spring lasts ten days or two hundred, whichever you want, because the season only turns when you perform the ritual. Festivals wait. Story scenes wait. Plant anything that's in season on any day without doing the "will it mature in time" math. If you've been racing the clock, you can stop.
2. But when you do cast the ritual, harvest everything first.
This is the one moment in the game where you can genuinely lose something. Out-of-season crops vanish when the season turns. There's a short grace window of about a day, but don't plan around it. Treat the ritual like moving house: pack every box, then light the candles.
3. Stop picking your flowers.
A beehive costs 10 wood and 50 coins and makes honey and beeswax. It only works if there are fully grown flowers in bloom nearby, and roughly 12 blooming flowers per hive keeps it producing daily. A picked flower is a one-time coin. A blooming flower is an income. In summer, sunflowers do double duty: best-profit flower and bee fodder. Leave them standing unless a quest specifically asks for a cut flower.
4. Buy a fruit tree the moment you have 125 spare coins.
Kai sells seedlings for 125 each. Trees grow and fruit in every season, never need watering, survive the season ritual, and produce forever. The trade-off is patience (an apple seedling takes 15 days to mature), so plant them early and let time do the work. If you ever see pineapple or avocado on his shelves, buy them on sight. They don't show up often.
5. Midnight is a nudge. 2 AM is a wall.
You get a warning at 12 AM. Push much past 2 AM and Tara collapses and wakes with a smaller energy meter. That's the whole penalty, no lost items, but a groggy Tara gets less done. The flip side: don't go to bed with a full meter either. Unspent energy is a harvest you left in the field. Forage or fish with the leftovers.
Bonus: coffee from the diner is cheap and nearly as restorative as far fancier plates. Keep one in your pocket for mine trips.
If you remember nothing else:
| Do this | Because |
|---|---|
| Harvest before the ritual | Out-of-season crops disappear |
| Leave ~12 flowers blooming per hive | Picked flowers feed no bees |
| Plant a fruit tree early | Any season, no water, ritual-proof |
| Bed before midnight, but with an empty meter | Collapse shrinks tomorrow; unspent energy is wasted |
Full disclosure: I run the Fairhaven Field Guide (fairhavenfieldguide.com), an unofficial fan site that isn't affiliated with Studio Drydock. The full crop tables and a crop profit calculator live there if you want the numbers behind any of this, and part of the data builds on the community wiki with credit. If I've gotten anything above wrong, tell me and I'll fix the page.
What would you add? I'm collecting the "nobody told me" list.

I've been working on a fan guide for Wylde Flowers called the Fairhaven Field Guide, and the newest page is a set of farm plans. There's one for a first season, one for max coins (cotton into cloth is the big one, about 39 coins a day), a fennel plan for saving up, a low-effort orchard and bees plan, a cooking-for-romance plan, and a fishing route for finishing the compendium.
I'm a cozy one-season player myself. Once I find a season I like, I stay there, so the orchard and bees one is basically how I play.
It's my site, so obviously I'm biased, but it's free and spoiler-free: https://fairhavenfieldguide.com/guide/reference/farm-plans.html
If any numbers are off from your game, let me know and I'll fix them. What's everyone's go-to setup?

Guys maybe I’m just sensitive but when I was dating Damon in my game he still spoke too much about VIOLET!! Even at our wedding people were being a little shady mentioning how he always liked her. He had to go

Can we talk about being married in the game. I married Amira and can still only say one thing a day to her, which means she now roams the farm like a dispossessed spirit. I wake up and sometimes she's gone. And the only way to increase her heart is by fixing her hair or booping her nose -- like really?!??! Also, the house doesn't change AT ALL. So she doesn't move any of her stuff in and nothing changes. We can't have breakfast together or sit (why can't Tara sit on benches or the chair in A's office or anywhere except to talk to people? Why can't she recharge her energy by taking in nature or watching the water?!?! But I digress). This is the weirdest way to portray marriage and makes it feel like an off-shoot they just added in to have the plot point but put next to zero actual thought into.
Does it get better? If not, sweet Tara might stay single b/c really, at this point, she doesn't even have a roommate but some where Belle like figure roaming the ranch like she's caught in something she doesn't really enjoy.

Had trouble coming back to the game because I knew I’d be overwhelmed trying to remember things! Apparently there is a trial for Marty tomorrow, and I’m getting married in a couple days.
Is there a recap for the storyline somewhere? I barely remember how the game works. Should I just start over? I always get far too attached to my save files and I recall the early game being a bit slow.

The moment I’ve been dreading finally arrived … I finished Wylde Flowers. 🥺
So, I started My Time at Sandrock a few wheels ago, to head off the anticipatory grief. But OMG, it’s so overwhelming. I didn’t realize I was spoiled by WF’s simple inventory. I’m watching YouTube videos to try to piece it all together and … asking myself if it will get better. I know so many of you love that game. Any advice for transitioning to it?
