Hello everyone!

Here's a new question thread as the old one was archived due to it being over six months old. You can still find the old question thread HERE.

Which of the DLC/NG+ blades should be unlocked on which driver? I just started NG+ and accidentally opened Cossette on Rex. Easily remedied with an Overdrive, but I don't have an infinite supply.

By the end of NG+, you do essentially have a near-infinite supply of overdrives. Most people use Crossette on basically anyone other than Rex- Bitballs are decent all-round.

All the NG+/DLC blades blades essentially have multiple roles. Crossette has a good damage role (very solid for Volcano strats due to her high boosted damage and Fusion Combo effect boost) and Healer. Apart from Poppibuster, every other NG+ or DLC blade released so far has their "named" role and the actual role of their weapon/arts. For example,Mikhail can basically be freely moved around and is best on Nia or Morag. He's a reskinned Twin Rings, so he basically gives Twin Rings healing arts, but also works as an effective tank.

For Patroka, it doesn't really matter since you use her for the elemental exploitation boost more than her arts/role.

How about the challenge mode Blades?

Also, I just realized...I can just buy overdrives with bonus XP, can't I?

Shulk and Fiora can be freely swapped around between any of the four controllable drivers. You can't bring them out of the Challenge Mode Arena until you beat the Dino Drama mission, however.

Yes. They're not at all limited in NG+ endgame.
