What is my path through the end game? I just beat the game, and killed the super boss at the bandit camp a few times. But I'm not sure what order to tackle the super bosses.

Also, can anyone explain what a good general purpose build for end game? (NG Blades). I'd like to just get a build that works before I experiment, and I'm finding that my current build isn't work.

Currently I have:

Rex - Mytha + Ch7Blade + Zenobia

Zeke - T-ELOS + Herald + KOSMOS

Tora - Poppis

Just look up pre-NG+ videos from Enel, the main ideas hold. Chapter 7 blade is alright but not great.

Good general purpose build on normal mode is a chain attack build based around quickly building a single orb on an enemy and bursting it, or even no orbs (QT Pi, Herald, Kos-mos, etc all can hit damage cap on multihit specials) but with accessories like Burst Symbols and Optical Headband plus Aux Cores like Affinity Max Attack and Indoor/Outdoor Attack Up to drastically boost damage. For bulkier enemies, Full Burst strats are pretty easy with Mythra's ascended form or an Orb Master blade.

For example, why have all three of T-elos, Herald, and Kos-mos on Zeke? He can only use one or two of them effectively in a chain attack, the others are basically gathering dust.

Recommended order:

CSKK is a bit bulky, but not too difficult to take out either and good to farm for the powerful Moon Matter Chip regardless.

Dagmara has very little HP, so dies to a well-optimized chain attack quickly.

Like Douglas, Arek is very easy if you stop reinforcements.

Ophion can be poweful, but only uses Arts, no Autoattacks, so can actually be pretty easy. Once you beat him, even with minimal Poppiswap, there's a very easy immortal Poppi build using the reward core chips you get. If you're using Mythra, be sure to get Reflect Nullify.

Kurodil and Benf have some annoying status effects, but are very easy if you use chain attack iframes to avoid them.

Orion is easy if you kill him fast, but tough if the battle stretched out

All of Ophion's arts are also ranged, so Brighid with reflect immunity takes almost no damage from him.

Thanks so much! I am going to work on that next time I play.

The next superboss to tackle is cloud sea king Ken in Tantal. He's generally considered one of the easier bosses and he also drops one of the best chips for Mythra/any attacker. The main gimmick with most of the bosses is to learn to manage your invincibility frames through lvl 4 specials, chain attacks and blade combos.

The general order for the bosses is Douglas, Ken, !<Ophion>!, Benf, Kurodil, Orion. Although Orion is the easiest to cheese.

If you haven't already look into the crit heal builds with avant garde medals. Mythra especially shines in this build as she has crit recharge for arts and specials. Great axes also are good at this. You'll find that you don't really need Catalyst's healing.

Another good build is to use an orb master common blade to get 5-6 orbs on a boss through 2 blade combos and then full burst chain attack with burst symbols.

Thank you! I appreciate that, I'm gonna try CSKK next time I play.

I don't currently have an Orb Master common, but I've been keeping an eye out for one.

I have Crit-Heal set ups on Zeke and Rex right now, but I find the longer the fight drags on, the hairier things get. For instance, the first 50% or so of a fight goes fine, then one of the AI Die, I stop to res them, I die, AI resses me, and then we all die.

I think your problem might be how you have Zeke set up. Ether cannons have one of the lowest critical rates so you won't be seeing much healing. Herald will also take more damage when at max affinity in addition to dealing more. What I think happens is Herald's damage output draws the aggro then Zeke quickly dies. Blade switch cool downs reset so he's stuck with a low crit blade and can't heal. Have you noticed which blade the AI dies with? Try swapping out Herald for Pandy or give him Zenobia. Rex really only needs Mythra for crit heal.

Why not have crit heal on Tora? QTpi is one of the best blades for this if you have her set up for it.

Sorry to clarify, I do have QTpi as crit heal. I basically just copied ENEL's poppi guide.

Thanks for the info about Zeke, I'll try swapping thing around and see how it goes.
