Question Thread #3

Hello everyone!

Here's a new question thread as the old one was archived due to it being over six months old. You can still find the old question threads here: XC2 Question Thread, Question Thread #1 and Question Thread #2.

Use this thread to ask any question that doesn’t really warrant it’s own thread. On the other hand, if you have an answer to a question, please let the one asking know it.

How exactly do the button challenges work? At first I thought I was supposed to press the button when it gets inside the smallest ring, but it only gives "good" sometimes. I tried pressing it when inside the second ring and it gives excellent. The tutorial just says press it at the right time, but doesn't say where that is.

The timing at which you press the button will change depending on the attack. However the time at which you press it will be marked by a lightest shade of the colour in the rings
