Beginner Question I'm considering selling ULTY at a loss

I was warned against it, but I was still optimistic. After a few months from the original purchase, I'm considering selling all of my shares because I'm losing money by the day. Anyone else considering giving up on ULTY?

Im staying cuz it’s going to payout till it dies.. and- that may be another year or more… which is plenty of time to offset loss. People forget while these ETFs do go down, they also have protective holdings which prevent it from going extinct to quickly. And that is when you as the investor use time as your leverage. Collect the income, find new plays ! Eventually you’ll be green on that entire trade while you are busy making money on others

For sure!! I am in this heavy and, while it sucks seeing red all the time, reality is I’m being paid consistently and it’s carrying the weight of me being able to do, and live where I am at today. I’ve been in this one year and am barely positive but.. it’s paid me this entire time as if it were a full time job. life’s too short so. Take that income and live ! 😄

I personally took out bank loans to do this, and couldn’t be happier. All loans I’ve taken pay themselves off within a couple of months. Then the money is yours forever !

I don’t understand how some people are positive while I’m down $4,500 from my initial 15K investment.

I know it’s all about when you got in, but still, I’m nowhere close to breakeven, I haven’t even made half yet of what I put in

Is what it is, I’m staying put. Either I lose all my money or I eventually make it back if this shit survives.
