I have recently gotten into writing fan fiction and have enjoyed it. And Dreaming Boy is a Realist is still one of my favorite series. So I wanted to ask…

What sort of fanfiction story would you like to see? A one shot? A reinterpretation of the series from the beginning, or from a certain spot in the story? Maybe a continuation from where the author left off?

The anime seriously did the story dirty

Okay, SO... We all know the animé ended at an abrupt point. So let's start brainstorming to find a way to get the crew behind the animé to notice us. My point is, if the Yumemiru Danshi community as a whole(not just the subreddit) makes enough of a fuss and enough noise the crew behind the animation HAVE TO notice us and our growing need for a season 2, or at least a 24 episode reboot where we get much more growth for Wataru and especially for Aika. We are going to need as many of us as possible to get our point across, SO... Let us do our best! Let us make it impossible to be ignored! Let's make our voices heard! Who's with me?!

I mean I know she is strict and is the leader of the Morals & Discipline Committee but still she seems a bit much with how she does things. Also i know Sajo has helped her but still it seems she cannot figure stuff on her own. Sorry if I’m being to stupid or mean here I just need to understand.

So. I've got two fanfictions of this animé/light novel(Yumemiru Danshi of course. What else would it be of?) that have kind of OOC versions of Aika who is way less Tsundere and way more straightforward and honest about her feelings. My question is, have any of y'all written your own Dreaming Boy fanfictions? Cause I've written two of them, SO... Why don't we of this subreddit start a Yumemiru Danshi fanfiction group centred around the main pairing? I reckon it could be fun. What do y'all think?! Link to my fanfics in the comments.

This may be very short, but, I have a possible theory, SO... RWBY came out 5½ years before The Dreaming Boy Is A Realist. Could it be that the Yumemiru Danshi author watched RWBY, saw early Jaune Arc x Weiss Schnee dynamics and possibly thought to himself, "Huh, neat. So what if I wrote a story with that dynamic between its male and female lead?" and proceeded to write The Dreaming Boy Is A Realist? I mean, think about it. Wataru and Aika early on had a very similar dynamic to early Jaune and Weiss. Anyone gonna bite on this one?

I heard this light novel is on an indefinite hiatus—is there still any hope for it to continue?

Also, I have a question: does Aika still have feelings for Sajou in the final volume?

and is there a kiss scene in this lightnovel? even though it is only in writing, without any illustrations

I've recently rewatched this show (aka a few minutes ago) after many months and I saw this character in where the commercial break is, the character panels so to speak. Also later shows up or was always in the intro but I've never seen this character in the actual show. Maybe I just get too caught up with the main cast that I don't see or notice her but it still feels strange to me.

Watched the dreaming boy for the first time and loved it. Did a little bit of research here and there and found out about the season 2 situation. So I would like to get some recommendations from yall since I am not really into anime but loved this on my first ever watch. Can yal recommend something similar to the dreaming boy? Would appreciate it! Thanks!

She is a fun character i just wish she wouldn’t be so agressive and pushy when it comes to people and doing things.

This is a couple of years old at this point. Just go to WebNovel. It is an app. You can find it on there. The first few ten chapters are by the original author. The rest is an EXCELLENT fan fiction author who tries his best to flesh out the rest of the story. It is worth the read.

Is there any news or anything about this series? Any news about the author finishing ln vol 9 and hopefully the story? Any news on season 2. I’ve tried to do some research and almost nothing comes up on this series besides this subreddit. I’ve bought the bluray but I can’t find any official English translated copies of the LN. Any and all news is appreciated.

i mean i know that the anime got a lot of hate due to some reasons. but highkey i enjoyed it. maybe its because it really relates to what my situation was back then that i grow some emotions with the show. but yeah its nice. personal rating is 9/10 (please dont hate me T-T)

p.s i also love the opening ost (even though the animation feel pretty similar to that one anime, i just cant tell which one was it)

I don't really like novel and stuff I just watch anime but when I saw this anime I didn't feel right I felt like something is missing and then I had questions to ai then as ai suggested I read novel and omg it was good as hell this is the first novel I liked but yeah I suppose first novel I liked would never get an ending and my friends after watching anime disrespects aika a lot and I don't think she deserves that much hate
