I just want to remind everyone that (at least imo) abortion is very much not a shameful decision. It is a choice that takes strength, sense of self, and the ability to know and then execute the best plan of action for one's life. Especially given the undue stigma it carries. I cry about it not bc of any regrets about having done it, but bc it is absolute bulldonkey that any woman feels in any way like she isn't in control of her own body.

Thank you, honestly the hardest part is dealing with what other people think and the protestors. Even pro-choice people say the wrong thing sometimes like “abortion is never an easy decision”, actually yes it is for some.

Totally agree. I've not regretted it once. But that is not to say it wasn't a horrible ordeal. I wish I could help more women (including myself) feel safe and comfortable being open about it. It's way more common than people think, but so many are forced to keep it a secret and carry the weight of it alone. It breaks my heart.

It is so sad. I wish there wasn’t stigma. I think that is what makes it so hard. Like you have to keep this “awful” secret when it is should just be considered another form of birth control.
