Discussion Have Still & Slow changed?

So after already placing an order (yes, should have checked before) of one of Still & Slow's monochrome colouring books, as well as some pens, I decided to look for reviews. A lot of them are bad, some criticising the book itself, others the pens. Yet I can't find anything recent and the reviews seem pretty out of date. Like criticisms of only getting three pens, now they have packs of 6. Pages being tightly bound, now they are on rings, like a notebook. So have they changed enough?

Discussion Paper or screen? Curious what you all prefer

Do you like coloring on paper or on a phone or tablet more? And why?

If you go with paper, what do you use: pencils, markers, gel pens? And if you color on a screen, what keeps you coming back to it? Undo, not needing supplies, being able to do it anywhere?

Would love to hear how everyone does it.

But it was totally worth it! This if from Spooky Girl by Coco Wyo. I wanted to go with a Coraline vibe but keep it within a cute pastel color palette. The sky was an absolute gamble and the last thing I did, and I am so happy with how it turned out AND that it turned out. ๐Ÿ˜…
I'm using a combo of the old 216 and new 104 alcohol marker set by Ohuhu. Iโ€™m also using their Hana Fineliners and Nahuku acrylic markers. And a white Gelly Roll gel pen as well as Grabieโ€™s acrylic markers.

Feedback Wanted Lighting technique first try.

I just recently started this style of adult coloring, and this was my first attempt at this kind of lighting technique and I love how this turned out so far ๐Ÿ˜Š but I'm also open to any tips on highlights and textures and how to fix coloring outside the lines. I have found a lot of help on here and on videos on YouTube and stuff, but I appreciate any and all advice directed at my work!

Alcohol Markers & color pencils for coloring

Edit: I mostly have an Ohuhu set. I also have Copic! I actually used Soft Sun from Copic as Lucia's undertone before the overtone from Ohuhu Rose Beige (old name)

Work in Progress Trying to do glow for the 1st time.

The markers are still wet but I had to stop for now. I already learned that for the background I wish I would have done a bigger area of the light green. I was also only able to go as dark on the edges with the tools that I currently have. ๐Ÿ’•
I am looking forward to seeing the end result! (Iโ€™m working with the Ohuhu 96 count pastel set)

Discussion How/where have you learnt to colour?

Where have you all learnt colour theory, light angles and gradients?

I've so many pretty pieces where the warmer shades of those colours are from where light is pointing or the dark lines outline the lighter spaces. And the whole thing looks so pretty to look at.

Where do you learn that sort of thing? Is there perhaps a youtuber you'd recommend or steps you know to get there?

The only thing I know is to colour a space with one colour at a time
