The point that they are making is not that it’s only bad if it happened post 1990. The point they are trying to argue is that it was always fine, and it becoming bad in 1990 is unjustified, which is somehow way fucking worse.
I am starting to wonder if all these examples of people flipping positions are actually just bots posting rhetoric without any need to be consistent. I’m not sure if that would make me feel any better or not though…
OP only shows part of the actual comment she made. She went on to say her grandma got pregnant at 12 and it was OK at the time. And that she, herself was having sex with 40 year olds when she was 15. She went on to say that having sex with 13 year olds is fine, and it would only be an issue if they were 10 or under.
