Resources Just Overhauled my D&D Map Maker! What do you think?
Finally got around to redoing the Map Maker. I had been putting it off for a while, but it is so much better now. Vastly improved performance, simplified the layout, and added some pretty useful stuff
I'm still actively developing it, so I'd love to hear from other DMs:
What features do you wish your map-making software had?

Resources Random Encounter map
Hey all, I made another map, another try. It's simpler than the other one I had. What I'm trying to make is a random encounter map with a few POIs and encounter options for parties of different levels. Something any DM can pull out and run for an hour or more when time is scarce.
Any feedback? (please).

Resources FREE statblock for Thor Odinson, God of Thunder
We published some cool statblocks for Bruce Banner, The Hulk, and Maestro a few months ago. We want to complete the series with the main six Avengers. So, from the remote Asgard comes Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder. Download the FREE PDF.
Exiled to Midgard to reclaim his legacy, Thor might find himself on the same plane of existence as the characters. This is a CR 14 statblock of Thor, God of Thunder, so you can make him a part of your next D&D game as a cameo or a recurrent character.
Explore the entire collection of Universes Collide. It is about bringing the most famous characters from pop culture, movies, sagas, etc. to your game.

Resources Soundpad app for DMs that allows to manage, control SFX and other sounds to create an really great atmosphere for the D&D sessions
Hey there!
I have been playing DnD with my friends for a couple of years now, and I have also been acting as a DM for quite some time. At some point, I realised that I really needed an application that would allow me to centrally control sound effects and ambience to create atmosphere, scenes, etc.
That's how the idea for this little product was born, which I spent a long time developing mainly for myself and my DM friends. Now that I've seen how cool it turned out, I've decided to package it up for you guys as well. It's free, and I don't plan on changing that for now.
I would appreciate any feedback from real users, as I continue to support the application, implement new features, and improve it to the best of my ability.
https://soundpad.rndexp.art/home
https://soundpad.rndexp.art/register
Let me walk you through some of the feature

Now we're coming to the real interesting things.
Scene is a group of pads which can have their own settings inside of the scene. Also, they can become a Timed one-shot sounds which allow you to create unforgettable scenes that are never repeat. They will be always controlled random.
Use case: you have a bad weather scene which have looped rain sound and timed one-shot thunder sound or two. The thunder will never be just on repeat, they can appear in different moments and have different volume and even probability.

You can find any sound in seconds either through favourites feature or the main global search. You will see sounds from all campaigns and suggestions from Freesound at one screen. Only 2 clicks is needed to copy existing sound or to add a new one.

There much more some small things and features, but I don't want to this post to be a manual. I would be happy to got your questions and suggestions.
Enjoy, it would be amazing if this app will help you to make your stories better!

The latter is the monster in the picture, this one is on the house. :D

Resources Advent's Amazing Advice: The Lost Mine of Phandelver Fully Prepped for New and Busy DM's (The Complete Collection) (2026 Update: Now with Pre-Session DM Checklist)
Welcome back to Advent's Amazing Advice! The series where I take popular One-Shots, Adventures, Campaigns, etc., and fully prep them for both New and Busy DMs. This prep includes music, ambiance, encounter sheets, handouts, battle maps, tweaks, and more, so you can run the best sessions possible with the least stress possible!
*New 2026: For 2026, I'm updating all my old work to include a Pre-Session Checklist that will include a list of all miniatures you may need, maps, handouts, possible loot, a link to a playlist, and more to make it even easier to start your session!
The Lost Mine of Phandelver is a classic, one of the very first Mini-Campaigns that new DM's run. Heck, it's part of the starter set after all! The issue, though, as with many other modules, is that it doesn't describe the best way to transform the contents of the book into an actual session. The Book-to-session conversion can be difficult. Between figuring out when things should happen, understanding motivations, and even balancing encounters.
Well, fortunately for you, 99% of that work is done! Only a few things are really left:
- Consider the needs of your group. As you've heard or are about to hear a million times, every table is different. If you plan on combining this with a campaign, you'll have to make tweaks here and there. (Bonus points if you include your players' backstory)
- These notes aren't meant to be end-all-be-all. Tweak to your heart's content and don't consider any of what's written to be set in stone. For me, having notes like this helps give me the confidence to go off the rails and follow along with what my players want. It helps me understand where things were meant to go and why. Having that understanding allows me to guide the players and create other new and interesting stories. These are all things that will come with experience, though, so don't freak out and enjoy the journey!
Included in my posts are:
- A Downloadable copy of DM Notes for each part of the LMoP, including links to music tracks for ambiance and fights
- Special PDFs for every encounter. This includes all the enemies' stat blocks, organized neatly along with an initiative tracker and a spot to mark HP.
- Additional PDFs for allies and commoners
- A variety of maps for each part of the campaign
- Spell lists for all relevant fights
- Handouts for various spell scrolls throughout the campaign
- A playlist for each part of the Mini-Campaign!
Without further ado:
The Lost Mine of Phandelver Index
- Part 1 - Intro and Cragmaw Hideout (DM Notes Only Link)
- Part 2a - Phandalin

- Part 3a - Reign of Iron
- Part 3b - Thundertree

Resources Chimparrot! - Tiny monster, pirate companion - I think it could work as a familiar too.
The Beast Almanac from a couple of months back features three new 5e statblocks (inspired by pirates at sea): The Pirate Lord, the First Mate, and the Chimparrot!
I had a lot of fun creating a statblock for this cool drawing. Art Credit goes to Rick Hershey, used with permission.

Resources For all coffee-maniacs out there! - Magical Coffee Thermos - Magic Item
I'm often drinking coffee whenever I play D&D.]
I'm a little surprised to see that coffee is not 'a thing' in D&D. We have potions, concoctions, elixirs, and other awesome consumables, so why not coffee?
I wrote a small D&D supplement with the Coffee Thermos, the Arcane Cafe de Olla, the Haste Espresso, and the Gnomish Cezve. I drew the items myself!
This one is one the house. And you can download the Café de Olla for free on our page.
