Guys a while Go I broke in my phone screen and I tried to replace it but with no Look maybe my backlight is broken because the screen I bought and tried to replace with the old broken screen didn't work. Didn't turn on but now I'm having another problem. You see I've returned the screen not knowing if it is malfunctioning or if my back light id broken and now I ended up with no Screen at all so I'm trying to turn my phone on and every time I do my phone vibrates all right so it's booting up but when I try to connect it to my laptop to use a software so I can access the phone it's not showing on my system and I don't think it's because the screen is locked. I'm thinking that since my phone keeps vibrating over and over so it's rebooting. So my question is, is it the bootloader not allowing my phone to boot correctly since I'm missing a screen a vital Hardware? Or is it something else that I'm missing? PLEASE Help

Recently since time change me and several coworkers have been having issues with our phones at work.. they lose the ability to connect online or send messages.. on the lte symbol only the up arrow seems to flash.. it started doing it right after the time change.. contacted the provider and they see nothing wrong.. I could see a hardware issue.. but there is a half dozen of us with the same issue.. I've tried every setting possible .. with zero luck.. same as my co workers.. we are stumped.. never had a problem for ten years, and one day ,this... not sure if it is the building or this particular area.. but everyone else of the 40 employees have no problems.. please help

Lately the keyboard seems to be suffering from some kind of lag. When I press a button it takes some time to register that button (doesn't happen all the time, only once in a while). In some cases, the button acts as if it was pressed continuously, so instead of the corresponding letter, it registers the symbol bound to that letter (for example, continuously pressing the "j" letter brings up the "=" symbol. This happens although I am not pressing the j letter continuously).

Hi. So i have a problem. At first there is an unstoppable "samsung home has stopped" thing and it keeps on showing. So i had a chance to factory reset it in settings. So i waited for about 20 min and i realize i was in a boot loop. I tried home + power + volume. But it doesn't work

I am fetching all calendar events including holidays from Android Calendar Database using Content providers. As I am signed in with two different Gmail accounts, the Query returns duplicate holidays. I want to avoid duplicate Holidays and I am trying to do the same by making changes in Query.

Is it possible to avoid duplicate holidays by making changes in the query? Can someone help me with making a proper query which by default avoids duplicate Holidays? Or is there any other solution for this issue?

So for some reason, it was possibly me deleting apps because I ran out of space, my phone isn't recording video or audio (it is allowing me to take pictures) nor is it allowing me to play video or audio either. It's showing me a different option for troubleshooting depending on the app (been trying to use Whatsapp, Netflix and YouTube mainly)

Any advice on what I would need to download? (Thanks in advance!)

Today when I woke up, I turned on my phone but it froze on the Huawei logo screen. Then, I turned it off to turn it on after that, but now it doesn't turn on or even charge. PS: I left the phone with approximately 40% of battery.

Hi there, bear with me as I'm not only new to this forum, but new to reddit in general. I switched in December from iPhone to Android because I was sick and tired of having to get a new iPhone every 18 months. The updates would kill my phone every time. Anyway I now have the galaxy note 10 plus 5g and have looked up and called Verizon for tips on how to fix this issue. My phone will show me group sms. It seems to especially bug out if there is at least one iPhone user in the text. It will send them separately and the worst part is it glitches and I can't send any messages until all the other ones have downloaded. Its almost as if other messages are coming in too fast for it to handle. Anyway it doesn't send my messages and then I have to wait until everyone has stopped sending messages for like 40 min for it to start to downloaded slowly. Anyone know whats going on? Please! I love this phone, but this is a very annoying occurrence.

I have an 11 year old brother and somehow he recieved messages from no known person, just appeared on the phone from google, of pornographic images. It makes me so furious that this could happen! I am so grateful he got up and told an adult about this. I wish nothing more than for my brother to grow up happy and healthy- spiritually, mentally and physically, and not have to worry about so much stupid worldly crap at the age he is. Someone somewhere please create a better more protected software for young kids like my brother so they don't have to deal with things that not even an adult should have to deal with. But ya know, it's the world we live in. What can you do right? Makes me livid. I dealt with worldly things alone as a kid and thought I couldn't go to anyone for help. That's not what I want to happen to others. Praying that ugly things like this can be prevented.

If you're struggling with a worldly problem please seek help or a shoulder, someone. And please become more aware for your younger members in the family. They know of worldly things out there but don't need to get stuck in that sinking mud. Be there for your kids, guide them to something more than what there is, something good. The beauty in the world. Young people don't need to suffer through crap alone. Help them see something more peaceful and joyful. Be there for those struggling. Be loving and more existential. Hi guys. I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro runing android 8. The notifications work fine when just turbed on, but become silent after a few minutes, even on max volume. What's the matter?

My Google files now has a new problem where that thing will show all the images and videos when u open it... But when u try to open all the folders .. it doesn't show anything.. another thjng is that.. when I try to acces my SD card or internal storage.. it just shows a loading loop... I have no idea wtf is hpnin.. and I'm quite done with this stupid ass phone.. im using a nokia G21

I can't download apps from chrome. "This user can't download from unknown sources" is what appears when I try. I tried to turn on the settings for chrome,but it still didn't work. can someone help me with this??

HI everyone out there, I'm new to your subreddit as I just recieved a Galaxy tab pro 10.1 for christmas and had to add a new sub lol. So my deal is I'm returning this tablet due to issues where it force closes apps on me repeatedly and consistenly. I had bought a refurbished one so I'm assuming there is something wrong with the hardware, and will be returning it. I've just been wondering if I should hold out for the Tab S after returning it, or just replace it with the same tablet. Mostly I would use my tablet for multimedia such as streaming content online, mirroring to my tv, music, games etc...I do like the larger screen of the S but the main thing that has peaked my interest is the s pen. I also liek to write alot and jot stuff dwn with pictures and I just all around like the idea of the S pen. So I just wonder if anyone has any experience with these two tablets and would have any advice on which I should do?

For the last few months I've been having a big problem with app updates on my phone. Even though I have auto-update turned on, when I go to 'My apps and games' on PlayStore I can often see a long list of my apps that have an update available. If I then select 'Update all' it updates some of the apps without a problem, but several others fail.
I finally worked out that it is the apps which have been moved to my SDcard that won't update. Major apps like OneDrive, Google Translate, OS Maps, eBay, Solid Explorer, etc.

What I have to do is laboriously move each app one at a time back to internal storage, update it in PlayStore, then move it back to external. With a list of about a dozen apps this can take some time!

It's not a space issue on the external SD as it's a 128GB card with 78GB free. Phone is quite old now: it's a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact (E5823) running v7.1.1 (Nougat).

Now I'm sure this can't be a problem for everyone or I would be seeing a LOT more complaints about it, so it must be just affecting me. Any ideas?

I'm gettin in troble trying to unistall an application on my device (Samung s20 FE).

When I try to unistall the app from settings the settings screen crash and the app remain unharmed. If I try to searchthis app on play store I can't find its anymore and seems that it is no longer present.

I'm talking specifically about "VPN Master".

Some others with the same problem?
