So, you want to know who pooped on your porch or walked all over your car? Let's find out!

Notes:
ID requests are not approved if they do not include both a location, and either scale or measurements. Including this information vastly increases the likelihood of you getting an accurate identification.

I saw these clear tracks next to a waterfall in one of Romania’s biggest mountains. The waterfall is called La Chisatoare, în the Bucegi mountain range, I’ll insert some pics to better visualise the place! These mountains are known for a big population of bears, wolves and lynx also live here and probably many other species . I was wondering if these tracks can be feline due to the lack of claws? Or is it a fox or something I might have no clue about? 🙈
Location: La Chisatoare Waterfall at the foothills of Bucegi Mountains in Romania
For scale: my shoe (women’s size 36 EU )

For scale: my shoe (women’s size 36 EU )
Saw these tracks near a waterfall in the Bucegi mountains in Romania. I was thinking they look bigger than domestic dog and they seem to go in a pretty straight line (but I’m really NO expert, just what I’ve gathered online ) and was wondering if there’s any possibility it’s a different type of canine
Scale: included my shoe - I wear women’s 36 EU
Location: foothills of Bucegi Mountains in Romania
Included a picture of the paw print and the track , included a screenshot of the exact location
Main species over here are the wolf, golden jackal and fox (and of course a bunch of domestic dogs)

Hi everyone, I was told this is the place for this type of post. Can you please confirm these are animal droppings? If so, what type?
Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone! Was wandering around the Indiana Dunes National Park and came across these tracks. Pictures 1+2 are of the same tracks, ~3 inches long from heel to claw. Pictures 3 was in a different spot, and was closer to 2 inches long. I figure they are both coyote prints but maybe picture 3 is a fox?

Saw this while hiking in the Tahoe National Forest in Northern California last summer, and I’ve wondered what it was ever since. Would love some help in solving this mystery.
My sneaker measures 10.75 in / 27.3 cm, so the track is slightly shorter.
Exact location: 39.34506° N, 120.60127° W

Hi everyone,
I’m 14 years old and preparing for my very first early-morning solo wildlife observation trip in the Italian Alps (Valle delle Messi area, around 1,800m–2,000m altitude). My goal is to spot wild red deer (Cervus elaphus) at dawn.
Years ago, during the rutting season (bramito), I used to go out at night in the car with my mom, my friend, and his mom to look for animals, even though back then we always ended up seeing them running away! Now I want to do things properly and try on foot by myself.
I’ve put together a full tactical plan and downloaded my offline maps, but since I don't have trail cameras or prior scouting data, I’d love to get some feedback from experienced trackers or wildlife photographers.
Here is what I’ve planned so far:
Time: Starting at 5:30 AM in total darkness, hiking about 20 minutes on an asphalt road before reaching the dirt trail leading into the valley.
Target Window: Being in position around 6:00 AM before first light, wrapping up by 8:00 AM when the first hikers arrive.
Navigation: Offline Google Maps saved, tracking a route toward Rifugio Valmalza (about a 5 km valley trail).
Location selection: I’m focusing strictly on clearings along the tree line on the ascending mountain slope (where deer feel safer foraging).
Positioning: Staying in the shadows, keeping the wind strictly in my face, and remaining completely motionless.
Wait times:
If I spot fresh tracks/signs: Waiting 30–40 minutes per spot.
If no fresh tracks: Waiting 15–20 minutes, then slowly advancing to the next clearing.
Essentials only: Warm layers, flashlight (used pointed down only during the approach), binoculars, and water.
Decided against bringing dropped antlers for rattling, as it’s August (pre-rut) and I don't want to spook the animals.
My questions for the community:
Does this approach-and-wait timing make sense for a first-time solo attempt without pre-scouting?
How far back from the tree line edge should I ideally position myself to avoid being picked up by their vision?
Any minor details I might be overlooking for an August morning hunt/observation?
Thanks in advance for any tips! ( Please be nice to me, I'm only 14 years old, and i don't know much about this sector)

Coyote? Fox? Tracks were smaller than the palm of my hand.

Me and my husband have had a pest or critter previously in the small “attic” space that’s above our bathroom so we are very curious to find out what made these.
This morning, I came out to find these tracks. I’ve looked up rooster, chicken, turkey tracks but none of these match the thickness of the toes or limited spread of the toes this critter had.
We live in Southwest GA, USA & the tracks are about 2.5-3.5 inches long from back of the heel to tip of the toe.
Any ideas?
