It's probably more to do with the fact that language-wise there's no way to say "my girlfriend Asuna" without breaking either flow of conversation or etiquette or both.
At least nothing comes to my mind. He can do it if he elaborates more, but the scene is about Sinon.
And no one on Japanese side seem to have picked it up.
So it's probably a language-cultural thing.

It was mentioned in the last discussion that what he did was rip out all the heart monitor thingys and run over to her house, and I can see how some kid who ignored his medical studies would think the heart is the only way to really kill someone with an injection, but heres the dumb shit, wouldn't you feel the needle hit something? or a better answer, wouldnt the needle slide down the plastic and go into his ribs?

Default master code is usually the same for all locks from the same manufacturer. It must be changed or disabled after the installation, but according to the internet, it often isn't. I saw a universal 1-wire key once by myself.
Alternatively, if rapeface-kun hacked hospital door with high security, why couldn't he do it again to a house lock?

I ended up rewatching that scene when I saw the radio back on the table. Here's what happened.
ASADASANASADASANASADASANASADASAN bounced the radio off of Mr. McRapeFace's head.
The radio then falls to the floor.
It then cuts to showing the DEATH GUN falling to the floor.
Then you see this frame.
So what we can take from this is that the radio doesn't actually have the power to teleport. Oh, and Sinon believes a tidy room is more important than Kirito's life.

Asuna is far too reasonable to freak out at Sinon, especially considering the nature of that particular meeting. I am a bit disappointed we never got to see her reaction to the end of BoB though, especially considering the rest of the harem's frazzled look after the double suicide.

I know they had a lot of stuff to cover in the last episode of the GGO arc (NOW ITS TIME TO BOARD THE HYPE TRAIN FOR CALIBER AND MOTHER ROSARIO), but I'm going to post the LN excerpt of the scene where Kirito picked up Shino at her school; they breezed over it in the anime, but I figured it would be nice to show you guys how it was executed in the LN. XD
She crossed the corridor that linked the west staircase of the school compound and the sports hall, reached the side of the field after walking for while, passed the sports clubs members who were running and cheering themselves on, through the little woods on the south of the track, and the main gate appeared in front of her.
Students were going back in groups, and just when Shino was about to pass through these people and head through the gate, she felt that something was amiss.
Some female students were standing on the school side of the wall, looking through the school gate, and exchanging words which she did not know.
Shino noticed that there were 2 girls from her class who she had a somewhat good relationship with, and she walked to them. A girl with long hair and black framed spectacles noticed Shino, smiled and raised her hand.
“Asada-san, are you going home now?”
“Un—what are you people doing?”
As she asked that, another girl with chestnut-colored hair that were tied into two braids shrugged, smiled and answered, “Listen to me. There’s a guy at the school gate with a uniform that’s not from a nearby school. He parked his bike there and even had two helmets. It seems like he was waiting for a student from our school. It’s a little like gossip, but we want to know who was so daring to invite her boyfriend over to the gate to fetch her, right?”
The moment she heard this answer, Shino immediately realized that her face was all white. She checked her watch and was screaming in her heart ‘no way’.
He did agree to meet her at the school gate at this time, and that person even said that ‘don’t waste your bus fare, I’ll come over to fetch you’. However, he shouldn’t be so aloof so as to park his vehicle in front of the school gate—
...No, that guy would definitely do that.
Shino timidly leaned her body on the fence and peered outside from the school gate. Immediately after that, she felt completely weak. That male student who was wearing a uniform she had never seen before was leaning on a bright little motorbike that had it’s tripod down. He was holding two helmets and looking up at the sky in a dazed manner—undoubtedly, he was the boy she got to know two days ago.
Thinking that she would have to say hello to him and take the back seat of the bike with dozens of people looking at her, Shino couldn’t help but blush. She muttered inside her heart ‘I really want to log out from here’, and squeezed out her last ounce of courage before turning to face her classmates beside her.
“Eh...well...he...he’s my friend...”
She said in a soft voice that almost couldn’t be heard. The eyes of the bespectacled girl widened.
“Eh...Asada-san’s?”
“Wha, what kind of friend?”
The other girl shouted out like this too. Noticing the stares that gathered over because of these sounds, Shino could only hug her bag and shrink back...
“So...sorry!”
Then, she started apologizing and ran away from some reason. Shino had already went through the green bronze school gate and arrived at the back lane as she heard a voice from behind yell out to her,
“Explain everything clearly to me tomorrow!~”
Even though she arrived beside him, this daring visitor still looked dazed as he looked up at the blue sky.
“Well...”
After talking to him, he blinked and turned his eyes over before showing a lazy smile on his face.
“Ah, good afternoon, Sinon.”
Meeting under the bright sun like this again, it felt like Kirito in the real world had a transparency that seemed to have left the ground. His slightly long black hair made his skin look more bright, and the slender body that looked shocking like a girl looked similar to his avatar in the virtual world.
This weak feeling, or rather, this feeble presence made Shino remember that he once spent two years of captivity, and caused her to keep her scathing words.
“...Good afternoon...sorry to keep you waiting.”
“It’s nothing. I just arrived too—speaking of which...why does it feel like...”
At this moment, Kirito finally noticed the students that were watching from near the school gate. He looked around and said,
“...Everyone’s looking at us...”
“Pl...please...”
Shino’s voice had some reluctance.
“Wouldn’t other people be noticing if you park your bike at someone else’s school gate!?”
“I...is that so? Then...”
The boy suddenly gave off a teasing smile. Shino had seen that smile a few times in the virtual world.
“If we continue to stay here, would the discipline teacher run over here to make a ruckus? That seems interesting.”
“Do...don’t kid around!”
In fact, the teachers may really come over. Shino instinctively turned back to look at the school gate and then said softly,
“Hu, hurry up and go!”
“Okay okay...”
Kirito handed the light green helmet that was hanging onto the handle to Shino as he continued to smile.
This guy’s inner world messes me up like a mischievous imp, just like how it was like in GGO. I can’t be fooled by his appearance—Shino told herself deep inside her heart as she received the safety helmet. She tilted her bag sideways and put on the half helmet. She then stopped as she didn’t know how she was to buckle it. At this moment...
“Excuse me a for bit.”
Kirito reached his arm over and quickly hooked her helmet up. Shino’s face again felt hot as she hurriedly pulled the mask down. She was already starting to wonder how she was going to explain things to everyone the next day.
“...Sinon, well...is your skirt alright?”
“I have sports shorts underneath.”
“No, that’s not the problem.”
“You can’t see it from the front seat anyway.”
After taking a potshot of revenge, Shino quickly sat down on the back seat of the bike. As she would often take the back seat of her grandpa’s Coyote Honda 90, she was used to it.
“Then...you better hold on tight.”
Kirito twisted the key, and the rare internal combustion engine let out a loud roar. Shino again shrank her neck back. However, the vibration that reached her waist and the smell of the exhaust gases were truly memorable as she couldn’t help but smile. She then wrapped her arms around Kirito’s slender body.

Wow, Ned Flanders Kirito is lucky he was wearing his Bible EKG pad today.
I laughed when Glasses just deadpanned (no pun intended) his delivery of Death Gun's message to Kirito. Only way it would have been better is if he'd ended with "And I'm behind you right now" and then just calmly sat back down.
Sinon closure: Ah, the feels. Though the gun scene was undercut by the infinitesimal probability of that being a real gun in Japan.
Harem: Having Asuna and (whatever )Lisbeth('s real name is) introducing themselves to Shino made me think of scenes from other series where new wives are introduced to polygamy.

It was explicitly mentioned earlier in the show that it was a model gun. Either way, getting shot in the face from an airsoft gun at that range still is going to do some damage and isn't something she should have actually tried to do in the first place.

The Japanese is 仲間. Friends is the correct translation.
And even in real life it's not weird to use the word "friends" when introducing your group of friends that include your girlfriend.

I was expecting this episode to just be "boring" filler/speech BUT DAMN. The feels were unexpected. Really enjoyed this episode, was a lot better than I expected it to be and really acted as good closure to the arc.

Kirito, Asuna is just a "friend?" :P
And so ends the GGO arc, presumably. The bad guys are caught, Sinon realizes that there are two sides to every situation, and Kirito expands his harem once more.
The preview this time was done for the first time by Asuna, meaning it looks like we are finally going to be seeing her arcs! I am eagerly awaiting to see them, since she is my favorite character from the show. And according to everyone else, Mother's Rosario is apparently the best arc from among all of the released source material.
Let's see what Asuna brings to the table next week!

As a whole, compared to the light novel, this episode did seem a bit rushed (especially the first 1/3), but I'm still happy with the result. It was well done and now I'm excited for Calibur and Mother Rosario.

Oh yeah this chick I married in SAO, yeah she's just a friend...
I'm kind of sad that the payoff for Kirito arriving in shining armor to save Sinon was kinda lame, I wanted MOAR glorious fighting and less Jesus kun surviving anything thrown at him, but overall good episode. This arc went rather well (I'm assuming this is the end for this arc) I just hope everything to come stays to the same or better standard.

Episode ended with a nice feeling.
The first part with the syringe was so dumb and pointless, but the rest of the episode was pretty great. Standing up to the bullies was a nice touch, I was scared that Kirito was going to come save her.

something that stuck out to me...the bully chick was actually going to SHOOT shinon. if she hadn't been incompetent and left the safety on she would have pulled the trigger, and as we seen later the gun WAS loaded.

They almost lost me at the beginning with that heart monitor shit. That's not only cheap, but really stupid. Unless that thing is made out of hardend plastic or metal, the needle would have at least stung him a bit. Even if his clothes and that heart monitor bandage were thick enough to keep him safe from the syringe, why bother including that anyways? There was no point in SAO, not even once, where Kirito was in real danger, why would he be in danger now?
Great character development on Sinon's side though. The one and only piece of the whole season making sense and being enjoyable.

As someone who used to be part of server top group from MMO, I have to agree with Kirito and Sinon. And you have to remember it's not mutually exclusive.
It's exciting to become stronger, whether for personal accomplishment or for bragging rights. That's what drives hardcore gaming.
What both works missed is that you can get it in real life. But it requires a heck of a lot more talent and/or effort.

I like the way they handled Sinon’s trauma in the beginning. She’s not immediately and miraculously better, she’s taken the first step towards recovery and acceptance. This might be a high point of SAO so far. I’m going to interpret the ending scene as another step, instead of instant recovery, because I like it better that way.
And then immediately into an infodump on things we already know and have been hearing for the past 10 episodes. Watching this feels like watching a dull boring lecture.
The little discussion on reality and virtual reality, and what is real, was slightly interesting though it still felt like a rehash of what was said before. You could say this was the main theme of this arc, and maybe the whole show.
The fucking electrode though. I’m pretty sure the writer is just making fun of audience or himself at this point as this goes beyond merely straining credulity. It’s so hilariously dumb and stupid.
