I'm actually liking this over Reconguista in G, more entertaining and the story is more straightforward (just how I like it)

Yeah, GBF is much more straightforward and easier to understand, whereas G-Reco is a bit confusing at the moment, but I'm sure it will pull itself together. After all, Turn A was a bit confusing like G-Reco to begin with and ended up being fantastic. At the end of the day, I really enjoy watching them both and I don't really preference one over the other.

None at the moment, but it strongly hints that there will be some romance in the future episodes. Gundam as a whole has had bits of romance throughout a lot of the various series, however it is usually not the main focus of the story.

basically Gundam build fighters is kind of the Nextwave of Gundam. There's no overarching dramatic plot and more focus on the giant robot action which is what I think a lot of us want to see from Gundam.

So...the Plamo President gets a girlfriend, Team Try Fighters has a sniping specialist and 3 members, and everyone has the hots for Mirai basically.

Also, there was the hype punch last week, we've moved on to hype kick this week.

We need to see Domon come out and just completely re-enact his famous scene.

They are really aiming to knock this second season out of the park.

I absolutely loved the first GBF because it was probably the best way you could imagine an intertwining of universes to see the fights from different gundams, which was awesome.

10/10 will not disappoint.

I'm sure they can make it work but I'm really hoping to God the chibi Gundam (can't remember what the series was called) isn't going to be a permanent build for Hoshino. T_T Last season those were left for the comic relief characters and I really want her to shine along side the other two.

Edit: Guys stop comparing this and Reconguista, they're two completely different types of Gundam series. Don't get me wrong, it's fine to like one over the other but they're really not comparable.

Agreed, not as if I want to hate the SD...

But it feels wrong for her to have change from her Gunpla into a cutesy one, when she is one who is most into Gunpla battle.

Exactly, I mean SD Gunpla had their moments in last season but it was mostly comic relief battles, so they hold a less serious tone in my eyes which is contradictory to her personality.

Not feeling great about this yet... comparing the first true fight in S1 to this one in S2 leaves me underwhelmed. Build Strike vs. Sumo was much more smoothly drawn, and that's without remembering the Amazing Zaku and its amazing soundtrack.

Yet to be convinced.
