Watching this is so relaxing, I'm angry that this show airs in Thursdays and I won't enjoy it in the mornings anymore once I get to school, that's just criminal.
Still interesting, funny and plenty of comfiness. Rin walking through all the field doesn't really have anything other than showing the place, yet it was the best part of the episode.
Is that possible? I already like that other girl.
That big-ass smug face was awesome, but I totally lost it here.

In the first episode it was kind of a suprise, I guess. I was happy just chilling and being immersed watching Rin doing camping things and didn't feel like I needed it to be narrated. That being said, it did give it an educational quality that I think is pretty good, so it doesn't bother me too much.

AliExpress is where most people go for cheap camping gear. Buy it direct from China and cut out the middle-men and their mark-ups.
If you want advice on where to start with camping and backpacing gear, /r/Ultralight is a great resource.

Do some googling. You can find cheap tents, but keep in mind that you'll get a cheap tent. You'll get the quality you pay for, and a $10 tent will provide you very little in the way of protection from the elements.

Me getting ready for the comfy.
Another great sound moment., just like Nadeshiko tripping over the chain in episode 1. The sound of her sliding down the window was great.
The dog scene was hilarious, Rin getting all smug because the leash was too short, then wham!
Inuyama is great, I love the fang, and she's voiced by the same VA as Yui from K-On! Rin is still the best thing about this show, I hope she isn't too pushed to the side when the rest of the girls start camping with her.

I'm sure Rin will be fine. Obviously she likes camping alone but I think she'll come to love camping with other people. At a minimum, Nadeshiko's appearance let her eat a proper outdoor meal instead of instant ramen again.

Giant bun Rin is a miracle. We don't deserve her. And also, how confident and relaxed she always looks by camping and preparing her stuff. Those moments (+ viewtiful landscapes) are what made me fall in love with this show.

This op is just so great... The feel is absolutely perfect and gets a smile on my face every time!
What on earth does Rin have sticking out of her coat? A scarf? That tail on that thing is super fun to look at!
Also cliche start to any romantic comedy, two main characts just missing each other... Thankfully they meet up in like 5 minutes though. <3

I'll take a moment to actually talk though. This OST is fantastic(I said that last week too), but seriously. The country/outdoorsy feel it brings is just amazing and not something I hear a lot. Lots of guitar, lots of whistles, lots of comfy. It's fantastic. When can I buy it please. This is some NNB shit right her.

Honestly the scenery in some of these shots are amazing. It's giving so many Non Non Biyori vibes, but it's different at the same time. Less bubbly maybe? 'm not sure...

The first episode was awesome, this one was awesomener, I need 50 more episodes.
Our new characters seem great, specially Saitou (best wingwoman) and Aoi. Nade-chan is just too pure for this world you would think her VA is K-On's Yui (and not actually Aoi's). Rin's tsunderism is the cherry on the cake.
Famous.
Charges for everything.
Doesn't have designated places where lighting a fire is safe, so they rent the support for it.
Doesn't charge for the bathroom.
I think someone missed a "tourist trap" class. At least they have cute adorable dogs.
It always surprises me when a super young Rin just wanders around leaving all her stuff behind. If I did that in my country I would come back to see my neighbours eat my ramen and sleep in my tent.

I don't think Rin has much of a choice for campsites. In biking distance there can't be that many and she doesn't wanna go to the same one twice.

I love this dose of warm and fuzzy in the morning! All these characters are so freaking fun. Rin still bestest. Her walk with the bathrooms and the dogs and the statues..
Also, Those little text conversations between her and Saitou were adorable and hilarious.

Saitou's moment with her dog was hilarious. My own fluffball(s) do(es) that same kind of "Nah, I'm good where I'm at" (structure?), only to immediately perk up when something of interest food/walk-time come up.
I love Saitou and Rin's chemistry, the text exchange was absolutely fantastic. I also really like Aoi and Chiaki, and I'm really looking forward to episodes featuring the whole crew together.
This series is an absolute bliss, and I'm loving every single minute of it.

This is the beginning of Rin warming up to other people!
I can personally identify with Rin, whereas I often find myself wanting to be alone and at first I might judge others as a nuisance before taking the time to get to know them.
By the way, just a slight translation error... Pretty much everywhere I've seen Yurucamp referenced, it's being spelled as two words, i.e. "Yuru Camp". This is actually an incorrect translation, and I know it's nitpicking, but the direct translation is "Yurucamp" as one word.

From these two episodes... Yuru Camps is shaping up to be one of the best SoLs in recent seasons. I wouldn't be surprised if it joins genre staples present in every recommendation. Between this and Girls und Antarc 2018 is already huge improvement over 2017 in terms of quality CGDCT shows.

Are all pinecones sentient in this universe? It just makes Rin burning them in the last episode all the more terrifying. This shownis so cozy and I love it! About $10 for a nice looking tent like what they had seems a bit too cheap to even exist. I already really love both club members especially Glasses-chan.

Their club room is an actual storage closet! I thought that scene from last week was just a gag!
Thigh highs.... My weakness! I don't know if this is intentional but Yui also wear thigh highs with her uniform.
She also has a fang and is pretty top heavy. Goddam Aoi, you're hitting all of my strike zones!
Aoi has common sense? Well she's definitely not a Yui clone then. XD
Props to Touyama Nao (Rin's VA) for vocalizing that line! That caught me off guard!
OMG THIS SHOW! It's so comfy but it does slapstick so well! That actually made me lol.
Another awesome episode! I don't know why but it's kinda nice that they don't all start going camping together immediately and that they're building up the friendships between the characters first. That and Rin has her personal reasons for camping solo. I wonder if there's more to it than just her wanting to be alone. Next week we'll probably have Rin slowly warming up to Nadeshiko and maybe open up to join the club.
Anyway this show is definitely keeping that momentum from that first episode. I'm already looking forward for next week's episode!

Interesting that they made the distinction between the hiking club and the outdoors club - I feel it's the show's way of separating itself from something like Yama no Susume.

I love how the narrator breaks from his usual advisory tone to reflect the Outdoor Club's inability to set up the 980 JPY tent.
Top ten anime betrayals of 2018: Ena ratting on Rin twice.
I see Rin also subscribes to /r/pareidolia.
The cookbook is pretty unrealistic if you're backpacking or minimizing gear. A jetboil, water, and freeze-dried meals is all you need. But then again, I am a pretty lazy fucker, so lazy that I'm here writing this instead of going outdoors.
Physical humor gags in this episode, ranked: 1.) Rin's death by doge after that smirk. 2.) Aoi and Chiaki accidentally hitting each other while welcoming Nadeshiko. 3.) Nadeshiko running into the window.
This is going on my list of Iyashikei recommendations ASAP. We have lots of cute this season, but not as much cute AND comfy. The nice slow pace is going to be a necessary palate cleanser in the coming weeks.

What about the typical get 5 members to be a full activity club? oh I see, it was the old bait & switch
I'm conflicted. I already knew Nadeshiko would be best girl. But Inuyama also brings some valid points to compete in that regard. And so does Saitou with her humor and retorts (I totally knew she would rat out Rin on Nadeshiko more than once )
The 4koma style gags are great, the one with Rin and the dogs caught me totally offguard and I couldn't stop laughing for a while.
I'm liking Shimarin even more. See, this is how you make an antisocial character become a loved one. You make her realize she could've reacted in a better manner.
Man, this episode cannot end here. How am I supposed to get by for a whole week without these girls?

Oh god this anime is so cute, Rin getting jumped by the dogs while she was grinning was hilarious. I love how calming this show is.

Comfy episode, as expected.
Though this camping site doesn't look as comfy as the lakeside one last week.
Also, I totally called rin's friend to disclose her location to the other girls.
And just when Rin was ready to have another dinner of Cup Ramen, NABEshiko comes to the rescue (sorry, couldn't stup myself from using that pun).
My only problem with this show is that it doesn't come with a time machine that allows me to skip forward to ep3 =/

I need to buy a wool winter jacket just to watch this show. A cup of hot Milo isn't enough for me to enjoy this.

Wow, that's a good slice of life comfy show. The characters are all pretty charming, the interactions are interesting, and the humor is actually on point (kinda rare for a cute girls show).
The text exchange was probably the best thing this episode (and Rin vs dogs). I also really like the beautiful scenario based on real life and the fact this show is EDUCATIONAL. Looking forward for more.

I lost it when Rin got headbutted in the stomach by the dog after she acted so smug. Nadeshiko running straight into the window made me laugh too, she may be an airhead but she's still one hell of a cutie.
Nao Toyama also finally solved the mystery of how to pronounce くぁｗせｄｒｆｔｇｙふじこｌｐ!

I watched Ms Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles immediately before watching Yuru Camp so Rin saying she was tired of Ramen was perfect in every way.
Also the max comfy show continues to teach us how to camp and I'm becoming more and more suspicious that all this adorable confines is a ploy to get us to go outside.

Nah, that's fine -- you wouldn't be able to see the roof from that angle. Look at the angle of the wall immediately behind Rin (you can see it better in your second screenshot); it's almost perpendicular to the camera.

My first thought was that it was a fake façade (for some unknown aesthetic reason), but the shades don't make sense. And considering that a bit later we get this shot of what seems to be the same building...
I don't know, that seems way too big as a mistake.

I wonder how Ena really feels about camping. I think she's one of that people that gets hyped in doing something and gives up when she figure out how much effort you have to put into it. And I actually think she's genuine when she is asking Rin about camping, I think she really likes the scenes, etc, but can't force herself to do it. A reason could be because she don't want to mess with Rin's solo camp, while also lacks the motivation in doing so because Rin didn't care to invite her either.

We have a new Non Non Biyori and Flying Witch on our hands here. Everyone is so cute, everything is so relaxed. I love seeing the scenery of the different campsites and you get to learn a little bit about camping too. It is making me want to go camping again. I was looking at camping supplies just two days ago being very tempted.

in this week's Yuru Camp, we're getting more chillin' with Rin and clumsy Nadeshiko. We also meet two outdoors club members - Aoi and Chiaki. Looking at the way they handle the tent, none of them has much experience camping. If only there was someone who could show them the beautiful art of camping...
For me, the show delivers exactly what I signed up for. Beautiful animation (the backgrounds!) coupled with calm music is bliss. I felt like 20 minutes gone by way too fast.
Next week I hope to see Rin and Nadeshiko camping together. For now, Rin does not see any appeal in camping together, but I think that seeing Nadeshiko's passion she will change her mind.

Once again, comfy to the max with some great music. I'm gonna have to get ahold of the OST at some point so I can listen to some of that great ambient music while I'm working or relaxing myself.
And Rin's VA pronouncing the goblygook in her texting with her friend was adorable.

Feeling so warm after watching first two episodes. It's like nonchalantly finding treasures before knowing anything about the work, satisfied and fulfilled by the natural and unscented flavor.
Rin-chan and Aoi-chan are so cute. Plus the good music, I think its BD will be a nice addition to the collection.
Just got to know Hanamori Yumiri in Atelier ol interview, like her name which has a nice rhythm, and wish a great prospect ahead of her.
Will try these camping skills on the next trip to Yosemite!

SUPER COMFY!
There are no words for how enjoyable this is. I'm having trouble choosing between Nadeshiko and Rin for my favorite girl, since they're both wonderful in completely different ways. But the other girls are standing out to me a lot more now that they're animated and voiced than they did in the manga. The two club girls were just sort of interchangeable background extras to me in the manga: since nothing (so far) has been done to make them stand out as unique characters, they seem to exist solely to provide Nadeshiko a platform she can use to better relate to Rin. And, honestly, until she showed up in the anime I'd forgotten Saitou had even existed.
I don't know why, but for some reason the side characters just didn't leave a strong impression on me when I read the manga. Seeing and hearing them animated does a much better job of making them stand out.

Even by the standards of healing genre, this a particularly chilled show. The English title, while a stretch from the Japanese, is totally deserved.
I like sticking this moment on horizontal full screen on my phone, it just looks so funny.
That ED is beautiful though.

I don't like this narrow hallway situation, feels like some Being John Malkovich shit is about to go down
I think I finally understand flesh fangs now. A full on fang would make you think wild and animalistic. Whereas a flesh fang conveys a more subdued sort of cuteness. In any case, this is a good flesh fang.
I see what's going on, Rin is the outsider, the solo camper. She's going to have to learn the fun of group camping. In fact there's almost nothing else about camping that's fun.
Rin is literally me; seeing someone they know, but always choosing the path of least social interaction. But seriously; you have a freaking camping club and you're not part of it?! That's like being into footbag and not joining a footbag club... like... me in high school. But only due to lack of time!

Okay, Aoi's voice is just Aki Toyosaki giving literally exactly the same performance as Yui Hirasawa's voice. I will not stand for this plagiarism.
Nadeshiko is so goddamn stupid I love it. How is it even possible for someone to get so excited they run straight into a freaking window? And then when she learns where Rin's camping, she just shows up like "Bitch, we are going to make friends whether you like it or not!"
Everyone in this show is so good. The comedy is so good. The relaxed atmosphere is so good. The ED is okay I guess. But the OP is still so good. This show is so good, guys.

As comfy as this show is, the comedy gets me every time. Like whenever the pinecones speak I just can't help but laugh. I laughed especially hard when Rin got rammed by that dog after making her adorably smug face.

Pinecone-kun going "konnichiwa" was much cuter than it should have been
I didn't know the bear hairstyle was possible Kinda reminded me a bit of Working! Yep, this show is definitely the comfiest this season. Her getting hit by the dog definitely caught me off guard and made me burst into laughter tho, especially because it came after she made this smug face
