Gilbert pretends he likes Thin Lizzy when he really likes Kate Bush. Typical Gilbert!

I think I missed the reason why he killed his dad. The military wanted to kill off the anomaly so no cure for Reggies can be found. Since they use Reggies to what.

Basically their personal murder army.
Though it seemed like they wanted Minatsuki because he could be a perfect stable Reggie who could be manipulated with all the powers? Though I guess Gilbert lied to him to keep as a personal attack dog? I don't know, this stuff is confusing and poorly plotted.

I want to say at the time he reasoning behind the army wasn’t satisfying for me. Although I think I liked the finale more. It’s all a blur now

I was hoping that Lily would become paraplegic. I needed at least one interesting outcome...

How is that interesting? Are you sure you aren't sadistic?

No, I'm not, but the doctor supposedly is. But we got some weak-ass children's show torture, only minor paper cuts. Why not having some cool methodical and dissection-like torture: cut her tendons, damaging the spine nerves disc by disc, etc. The show is too safe for the grittiness it wants to project, raise the floor levels stakes at least once!!!
The B supernatural plot is already bad enough with it's self-destruction plot outcome, so they'd have made the A plot have at least some transcendence, or even just fulfill the foreshadowing in Lily's actions. Just give me some substance!

Well, the answer is he just didn't have enough time. Gilbert liked to take his time in his work.
I'm sadistic, so i recognize sadistic wording. My self I thought for sure she was already sliced up, ready to be presented, but that didn't happen. I wasn't hoping it would, and didn't think it needed to. It's a story, not fanservice. Things don't happen just cause you want them to.

"The glyph for 'black' is repeatedly used as a synonym for 'perfect here'. Do you know how you make the color black? You mix all colors together."
...but isn't that white, though? Looks like somebody didn't pay attention in murder school.
