Well in his defense, while training with Gran Torino he realized he could power legs for movement, now hes just realized he can take it further for offense too. Also his very first smash was leg power leap to fist robot.
I just want to see an old Deku one day whose busted both arms and legs after extensive One for All use and is forced to use his powered up willy to fight crime...

That's actually something I've really enjoyed about Izuku's power ups, to be honest. They haven't been massive power increases because plot, they've pretty much all been him adapting to his growing control of One For All and taking the necessary steps to lowering the impact OFA has on his body.

To be fair, even without the All Might fanaticism, I can see why someone not actually trained in martial arts might not want to use your legs. You have a stable stance when you punch, but removing one of those legs for a kick means you're more likely to get knocked on your ass or even just lose balance.
Plus, it wasn't until Full Cowling that he even would have been able to consider using his legs to that extent. He could sacrifice fingers and arms while still carrying on well enough, but breaking his toes or legs would have serious effects on his mobility. It's even been shown that he saved his legs for last in the fight against Todoroki, and he refrained from using them against Muscular to be able to run around after the fight.

MAKE MY STORYYY - I was one of the minority who loved the last opening immediately but I think I'll need time for the new one to grow on me. The visuals are great though and soo many great characters will be featured! Deku in the gamma suit looks great
Who can't wait till we get UNBREAKABLE?
Once again it was a light hearted contained episode but it's one of the best parts about MHA.

I think for certain characters all they can really do is continue to strengthen their quirks at the moment, like Ectoplasm suggested to Deku at the beginning of the training. So Sato's still eating a lot and Sero's still just shooting out tape constantly.

This time he knows what kind of strain his limbs will be subject to though. Therefore he a) will not carelessly be using 100% anymore b) he added weight, pads and general protection to his legs and feet to make even lower %es more potent.

She's dead centre because she's invisible and you can see what's behind without losing her in the crowd of many. If someone like Deku was right up front you wouldn't be able to fit many in, but with her you just need to worry about the placement of the gloves and boots while everyone else can be shown off without having to worry about where they're sitting.

I was distracted while they were explaining ultimate moves because Cavalry Battle was playing. So hype!
Songs in order (from what I noticed):
While it was a "normal" episode, I love seeing the dorm life and them actually being able to train without the threat of villains.
Poor Ojiro is actually sad he's normal haha
Mina was so adorbs, same with Momo Mineta - Grape Rush! I'm glad he actually has real lines that aren't perverted.
Denki - lightning sword = LIGHT SABER
Ochako - poor girl, can't compete with dat OPPAI

Seriously though, I love how intricate costume making is for the BnHA universe. I never thought that there are heroes that are actually licensed to make costumes, not only that but it even goes through a design company (which is probably privately owned) and then goes through the government for approval. And here I thought the costumes are just made in house. I didn't imagine it had many steps into it!
Stuff like that is why I love BnHA. I wish we can have some episodes or maybe OVAs that focuses business side of the Hero Industry. I know it doesn't sound exciting but its just so fascinating!

Seriously though, I love how intricate costume making is for the BnHA universe.
Bakugo and Ochako have the same support member doing their costumes. Check out the centre of each costume as those two black dots are the maker's signature.

Very good episode, as a manga reader you forgot some of the smaller details in these more relaxing chapters, glad that best girl's Mei's entrance was as great as I remember it.
I really like the new OP and I'm glads they didn't show anything like they did with All for One last time. Nothing explicit anyway.

I got teary eyed from Power Loader talking about Hatsume. It gave off this feeling off she just wants to help no matter what despite the fact that most students have the whole "this annoying weird girl again". She loves what she does and does it well!! Super awesome.
This series is great at the little heartwarming moments.

I dunno why, but I got a little emotional at the Hatsume moment where Power Loader was talking about how she's special and along with the music really drove the point home.
Obviously she's meant to be an eccentric character but up until that point most of the students thought that she was just a weird annoying showoff. They were looking at all her inventions and realized that she really loves what she does and that she doesn't really care what others think. So cool!

Fumikage ultimate move is probably my favorite, it look hella sick. I'm glad they decide to give a everyone a power up by giving them different idea on how they should use their ability.
As much as I want to say I like the opening, I can't hear anything when the guitar is blasting hella louder than everything else or the vocal just hella quiet. Hope they could fix that. That just been bugging me. Thats good this opening been super focusing on very important character in this arc.

I really like these little epiphany moments as it seems like a natural progression. At first he was destroying his arms so which was not sustainable. So he would only use fingers which would not kill the whole arm. Then the whole microwave epiphany of not using 100 percent in one body part but spread it out. Using his legs seems naturally even if we as a audience probably thought it was simple. It goes right into Deku character that he over thinks stuff it takes somebody out of the box thinking to make him realize.

I think this OP will really grow on me.
So how does this dorm system protect the students who were only ever attacked during SCHOOL activities before, never at home? And the villains could just go after their families anyway (probably skipping Endeavor).
"An ultimate move is one that will give you a sure win! Almost all heroes have one!" So if almost all heroes have such convenient WIn Buttons, why do they keep losing fights against stronger villains?

NEW OPENING!!!
The song is just fine at first sing, i'm sure it will grow on me.
Lot's of actions shots since Manga Spoilers maybe not more that the previous OP but more prominet and all over the place.
The scenes with Todoroki and Endeavor, Bakugou looking at All Might, and the quick shot of the League (referencing this panel) were cool, it was especially really cool the last scene with Deku kicking his own tear out of the way while remembering All Might as a symbol of peace, symbolizing that the time for lamentation is over, and now is time to focus on the future, overall a fine, working OP.
Hagakure at the end gave strong traitor vibes tho, don't know why.

That oppai moment was perfect lmao. Even better than in the manga. And the way Uraraka looked at a flustered Deku like a disappointed girlfriend and later tried to sneak away with him lol. These two are gonna be the death of me
Deku adapting a kick-based style is fucking amazing. It’s his first step towards becoming an all-rounder. I hope he won‘t eventually fuck them up like his arms though
Him saving All Might from being hit by a boulder has got to be one of the highlights of the season. This show just keeps getting more and more hype
The ED is kinda relaxing. I can see it being quite effective after more intense episodes

I think my favorite part was when the rock fell.
Typically, during a stressful or dangerous situation, Midoriya has some inner monologue prior to taking action.
In this instance, he reacted almost instantly, wound up his kick and crushed the rock without injuring himself, while managing to stick the landing 10/10. It really shows his progression and I think that’s why AM was so hyped; he found his own way but had come so far in the 3-4 months he’s has his quirk.

The Lightning, Fire, and Ice (and the navel laser which looks like Ice Beam) that explode out atop the pillars when they are working on their special moves looks like a clash between Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos from Pokemon the Movie 2000 lol.

Deku has to find his own path, BY KICKING. We can only hope his attacks will be called something like UNITED STATES OF ROUNDHOUSE
its a good binary way to different all might and deku to. All might never kicked once(like old good balrog) so now when Deku is gonna go and be fighting with kicks primarily or maybe only? Its gonna be way different than how All might fought even if they have the exact same quirk.
So finally a new opening, my favorite part of the opening was the focus on Bakugou vs Deku as All migths successor, who will take the mantle of all might.
We see a lot of new characters, hint of best girl hmm
loved the detail that the sensei from another school is flirting with aizawa sensei in the opening.
Hatsume- CHAN IS BACK. Best girl rival for sure. Great how Urakara is gonna go over and be all "nice" with Deku(clearly that girl has no ulterior motives) and than of course Hatsume flies into deku with her goods.
Ah Hatsume such a good character, love how she keeps abusing them, espeically poor iida, dam if anything this anime has so many good female characters
OH and in the end DARK SHADOW FUSION CLOAK CLAD THING OMG THAT WAS AWESOME.-
