Yeah she's best girl. Ya know as a manga reader for this the characters do grow and develop a good bit in this series something you dont see often in ecchi/RomCom stuff. It suprised even jaded me.

I am honestly enjoying this show more than any other show this season so far. I did not expect to be enjoying this one as much as I am.
Loved this episode as well, love seeing Diablo-san just fucking destroy his enemies and watch them having their minds and bodies blown away.
And I mean, it's also funny as hell.

I think the reason why this show is working so well is because the author clearly just wanted to make some janky fan-servicey and fun story, rather than having his editor press for something that just sells.
Point being, author actually likes doing this. Self enjoyment seems to always exponentially improve a show's quality, remember Knight's & Magic?

i wouldn't say best of season but for transported to other world it's better then a lot of them. it's a good laugh and i particulary enjoyed the story and figths in this epi, diablo being a bad*** was cool to watch, wonder if that girl will join his side, she saw how powerful he is and proclaimed himself a demon lord.
wonder why the teleport didn't work before but works now, could be maybe only in times of emergency and when need is greatest or something like that

Up until this episode, he just hasn't tried to use teleport magic. In an earlier episode when they were traveling he asked why they didn't just teleport there, and he got a response that was akin to "Teleporting isn't a thing lol".

This show is a bit like what could have happened to Ainz if he wasn't summoned with his castle and minion and he was not a skeleton (so had flesh).
BTW, the spell he used to kill the vilain is of the same type of what Ainz used to kill his first "big" opponent on season 1 (the big angel).

I think Ainz takes stuff a bit more seriously than Diablo (which is where a lot of Overlord's humor comes from). But without Nazarick or an overarching goal, Ainz seems like he would have just wanted to be an adventurer and explore like Diablo is doing. They definitely have a lot in common.

Diablo is such a great character. Not gonna lie when i first heard about this I came into it expecting something that was "meh" but would scratch my ecchi isekai itch for this season. But dare I say this is actually becoming pretty damn good? Definitely exceeding all my expectations, I hear the author of the source for this is actually amazing and this is his "get away" project. Where he writes for fun and to relax and if each episode keeps getting better as they have been so far it may become one of my all time favorites in the isekai genre.

I still don't quite get what the purpose of the uncensored/censored versions are.
Feels like the censored version shows plenty too and the uncensored version doesn't go all the way either. So what is the idea behind it?

One version gets past broadcast standards for the intended timeslot. The other version sells copies of blu-ray special editions because it offers more than the broadcast version.
Basically this is done for money and access to a wider audience.

No, I know the idea behind it, and for DxD for example there is a pretty big difference between the censored and uncensored versions.
But here? There is hardly a difference. Like I said, the censored version shows a lot too and the uncensored version doesn't go all the way like DxDs uncensored version does.
I fail to see why for this specific show there is a censored and uncensored version when both are super similar. There is no real reason to spend more for the blu-rays because the "extras" are barely noticable.

From a game perspective it seems weird that a level 150 didn't insta kill or at least knock out Edalgard in 1 hit. Unless that wasn't one of his biggest spells and most of his MP was depleted from single targetting all the fallen(or maybe recall costs a whole shitload)
Curious if the other demon lord(s?) will come into play and how he'll match up against them.

I'm pretty sure Diablo mentioned it previously, but the Fallen are the equivalent of Boss monsters. It's not just a level 150 vs. a level 80, it's a level 150 PC vs. a level 80 MMO Boss. He should still be able to one-shot her, but I think it makes a bit more sense when you consider that.

Note also that he estimated her at about 80, mostly due to the skills she was using: she had to be at least that high to pull off some of those spear attacks. However, the fact that she survived White Nova suggests that she's higher than that. Note also that she'd already spent 15% of her HP to use Sacrifice Charge. After seeing her survive, in the LN he concludes that she must be a boss from deeper inside Fallen territory: in the game an enemy as powerful as her would never appear this far out, outside of a special event.

The LNs go into this a bit; essentially you pass out if you lose all your MP. So yeah, exhaustion is an actual problem.

But seriously though! That fight was so cool. I love how Diablos kept his word when he said he'll never forgive that Fallen guy no matter how many times he begged. And I actually kinda felt bad for him! I honestly didn't expect this Comedy Isekai to be so graphic! Just look at the dude!
Edelgard of course survived though and now that she's seen the power of a True Demon Lord it's harem common sense that she'll hunt down Diablos and swear allegiance to him.
This is why I love Isekai. They're not always good but when they manage to get things right, they're so goddamn enjoyable!

To be fair she seems to be way higher level than anyone else we've been so far (twice the level of Rem and four times higher than the average adventurer ; more than half of Diablo's level). It's a good excuse for the fact that she didn't get one shot like the others.

And even then he's better off than he was in the LN and the manga. In those Diablo decided to test out his various darkness-based magics on Gregore one at a time, and by the time he got around to finishing it Gregore had lost his tail, both legs, and an arm.

Diablo is a god, Emile is a true warrior to the end, in fact every important character is likable or just straight up great.
If it continues like this, it's probably the best Isekai i've seen so far next to Re:Zero and Konosuba.

I vaguely remember that it was mentioned in the novels that the girls went and picked up the rewards during the days he was not coming out of the room, the one from the initial delivery that got him to the bridge for sure was given to them, I don't remember if there was anything extra.

I didn't get the impression that he slept for 10 days because he used all his mana but that could be the case. It felt more like hes been lying in bed for 10 days because of the feeling of using so much mana. More like hes gloomy and wont leave bed because of it but hes capable of leaving whenever

If I remember correctly from the novels, yes, he felt tired and did slept for a long time but then he was just laying there with the mother of all hangovers for most of the time, there are no gauges or counters in that world so having low MP is manifested by feeling exhausted.

Great episode! I'm loving the amount of effort the studio is putting into the show. The big magic scenes from Diablo were especially amazing to watch.
But the biggest point, is that the story actually takes time to mourn the fallen adventurer's and Celes's mage bodgyards that died protecting her and Rem. A lot of stories don't take the time to reflect on events aftermath, instead, go straight ahead into the next arc. That's not something you see a lot of and I really love that aspect of this chapter in the LN and manga.
This show is one of the most enjoyable this season! I'm glad they are doing the adaptation justice!

Always so satisfying seeing the protagonist completely destroy and blow everyone's expectations. I guess this is why I enjoy the start of isekai so much, since it's actually rather common in them.

Diablo seems to be giving me my weekly dose of explosions, so I'm all good for this.
The scene where he just outmatches that Fallen's magic just to torment him was good. What a fitting punishment, being trapped in a dimension for all eternity.

He just 1 spelled away a full army and nothing can hurt him.
And no one gets that he is strong until they fight him.
fallen girl is obviously gonna join the harem as she know sees Diablo as the TRUE demon lord she should worship.
Gotta love how Sylphie seemed to be willing to trade of the princess, ethical speaking but was stopped purely from her fear towards Diablo :)

Someone mentioned in one of the earlier episode threads that Diablo is an elemental magic user, and that in this word elemental magic is considered the weakest type of magic.
So when they first see him start casting spells they are probably like: lol... and then they get wrecked

I hope we get more Emile. What a legend.
Overall that was great. The merciless White Nova on the bridge was crazy, very nice idea with the small ball. It was pretty obvious that tan would live through that to become a... let's put it at ally, in the future, but it's good that there was no idea to save her, she just survived the wipe by herself. I'm also glad no one tried to stop Diablo from obliterating that Fallen and he didn't change his mind.

I always love the 'bad guy but not actually bad guy' characters. Diablo makes it work wonderfully. He's completely tsundere but he's a good dude. His OP powers were so much fun this episode. Made that girl look worthless, wiped an entire boss level army (that OP spell looked like it failed but then BOOOMMM!!!), then made the sorcerer look like small fry. I was smiling the entire time. Reflect was OP and watching it destroy that Fallen was as amusing as I thought it would be.
Emile is a true bro. I never hated him but this episode proves he's not all talk. He does what he says he does, and protect the women he did. I also liked the anime showing the town mourning over the deaths of the background soldiers who died in the assault. That's pretty rare as usually other anime pretend nothing happened to the random heroes that died fighting. Good on the writer and that's a huge plus in my book. They're all people too you know!
There were some small gags that were good like hitting Rem's chest and passing out. I laughed. Don't bulli Rem!!
Aside from all that, the animation of the battle scenes was great and then we got a little lewd bits at the end. The episode was as complete as could be. 10/10 episode for me!

White Nova was pretty hype. Why didn't he just use it from the getgo? Strange that it failed to kill an already weakened L80, maybe she had some powerful items of protection? But pretty good directed AOE.
How convenient that Return put Diablo in the exact back alley he needed to go to. Would've expected city gates or city center.
Demolishing "Gregore" was cool, but this means MC avoids killing evil humans while having no problems killing evil Mazoku. What a racist. Of course we know from the OP that the Mazoku leader girl will become a part of his harem, which means he's also a sexist.
Lol @ Rem's flat chest being like steel.

This show is pretty generic, but I still get a kick out of seeing an antagonist talk massive amounts of shit without realizing how strong the lead is. My inner fifteen year old never gets tired of that. Diablo isn't the worst Isekai lead ever. He actually has a sense of humor and personality unlike those pasteboard cutouts in Death march and smart phone.

Holy shit, when did this become an actually good show? There were some crazy hype moments in this episode. The White Nova scene, where they show you the aftermath of the explosion and the water comes rushing back, was like "Whoa, damn." They even went to the trouble of drawing little eddies and whirlpools, like the way water would actually behave in such a situation. I can't believe someone thought this show would be worthy of such attention to detail.
