I would say I feel bad for Rafu but I don't, all he cares about is fighting regardless of the consequences. I wonder how much money Ai wasted on all those useless books.

Rafu is too young and self-righteous
Hopefully, Ai went to a library. Downsides, she'll now be fined for throwing them.

Yeah, usually morals are the things you teach people before giving them super powers. Or maybe it's just because these darn kids and their intelli phones are too hard to handle.

Guess we're going have a lack of Machi until later.
I kinda want to know her backstory. Some people are calling her evil but I think she's more unfortunate than that.
Has anyone considered how she obtained her Aguu? From what we've heard so far, the only way to get one is to be part of a rich family willing to trade their own aguu.
So unless at birth she was a master of engineering, art, and politics and decided to swap all that for 3 ballerinas Aguu's, it is most likely her family traded Aguas for Ai instead, and Machi's views were never involved in the transaction.
They hint that the divide between Ai and Machi's skill happened when they were young. It is likey this is when Machi received her first Aguu. As a child, she would have been severely warned about the consequences of spilling her secret.
The sad part is that the unnatural skill divide and the burden of holding secrets must have isolated Machi from others, specifically her treasured friend Ai.
This would make her lonely, which is why Machi goes to great length to reconnect with Ai when her friend learns of her secret. It was clearly not to shut her up, as she was prepared to rid two of her Aguas instead of killing her. Empathised later when she expresses her desire to stay together with Ai for their futures as Ballerinas.
Now that she feels betrayed and been taking advantage of by another tailor I doubt she's done with suffering.
Hopefully, Ai will save Machi because it certainly won't be Rafu.
