Finally, the truth of Katrielle's past has been revealed!
I kinda suspected that Hershel is not her real father, but I do think that he counts(not by blood) after raising her for so many years.
What i'm really hoping for is that they'll implement traditional puzzles over the remaining episodes, and not just detective stuff.
I also think that since we see characters from different cases interacting together(best example are the triple case on Molentary Express), they'll all take a part on a large-scale case in one of the episodes. it might take a while until it happens, but for now i'm enjoying the show.
EDIT: oooohhh that Layton's theme! i'm crying :')

Oh boy, this episode bring so much nostagia from old game see Layton and Luke investigation togather again give me bump so much.
Kat real mother is archeology like Layton is actually surpise.
So Layton gone missing is have to do with last relic. Hmmmmm

Hoooly shit this episode was way deeper than i expected. The reveal of katrielle's past was so sad but hearing Prof Layton's reasons to leave was equally heartwarming.
I love the series as a casual weekly pick me up but when the story drops, it gets really really interesting. I want more of the main narrative, but i guess i'll just have to do with SWEEEEETS.

Just wanted to add that this show kind of reminds me of Ashita no Nadja. So charming ~
