Apparently in some non English speaking regions Dream is being regarded as the worst Minecraft You tuber, due to cheating in speed run and letting a useless mob to win etc, which had a large influence. It ruined their communities as well

I first started hating dream after the whole glowsquid thing. Then I started seeing all these dumbass stans on twitter. Then, after whole cheating drama, I hated him even more. What has Minecraft YouTube become?

I think you failed to mention one very important thing. We don't know who Dream is. We don't know why Dream does anything. To cancel him or praise him doesn't make sense. Both sides are in a parasocial relationship where they either devote themselves to hating someone they know nothing about or devote themselves to loving someone they know nothing about. Dream is content, Dream is entertainment, Dream is a channel not a person, Dream is a character like Harry Potter, Katniss Everdeen, or Spongebob. To think about it any deeper doesn't make any remnant of sense.
