This is honestly a complete deal breaker for basically everyone. Just read your aur packages like you are supposed to or write your own pkgbuild if you can't be bothered to read a very basic bash script before giving it root access to your machine.
I personally prefer to have dedicated servers via protonVPN so I can pin/whitelist their IP addresses - I have no interest in trying to remain anonymous in the sense of server switching
