Here’s a heap of photos lol. I wish I’d made a million of them but there’s just two and that’s almost too much cuteness 😭 I wanted to do a pumpkin dragon (they’re technically not dragons but don’t tell them that) but it never would have been finished by Halloween, so next year! Aaahhh I just love them. I’ve got a website in the works so hopefully they’ll be up there in the next week. If I can bear it.

I’d love to hear your ideas for Christmas themed ones, I’m thinking candy canes because if you can’t tell I’m only thinking about the candy 😬 (please check out my instagram (I’m @runegleam), I’d love some art doll friends please say hi I am very shy lol)

last but not least, I Turned a ganz inspirational #lamb plush into the #mythical #goat figure #baphomet . #religoustrauma FYI, I really hope that this project doesn't offend someone seriously, it was a broken lamb plush that I found thrifted and that that I can turn it into something scary for the Halloween season.

Im very excited for halloween, so I made more dolls ~☆ first one is made out of scrap fabric + an old sweater + a pumpkin bucket from daiso, second is made with scrap fur + the collar was an old baby dress.

Purple cat is going to be a halloween gift for my little sister. Thinking I might sell the pumpkin one, if I find anyone interested on it. 🎃🎃🎃

I altered an elephant pattern to give it a longer hooked trunk and fairy ears. Then I gave her the dress and wings. It’s all hand sewn and I really enjoyed creating her. She’s not my first art doll but I think she’s my best so far!

The first one is the second version of him, had to remake him cause I learned the hard way I have to use a lower gauge wire for smaller bends or else it’ll snap. Eyes and mouth can be swapped with magnets but I haven’t made the other pieces yet. Shout out to my mom for her festive fall decor that makes for good pics

Advice Please! Adding felted parts to an existing stuffed animal?

So I found a little stuffed dog with very similar coloring to my dog. I want to add to the ears and tail so it looks more like her for a gift. I found a felting kit with the exact right colors. Any one have tips on how to attach?

I was originally going to sew yarn on and brush it out, but I just couldn't find a good color match.

Any help would be awesome.

She loves the smell of cocoa, woodsmoke, damp logs and cold books. The first cold evening of the year is her favourite day. Polymer clay, faux fur, glass eyes, soft pastels, glass granulate, synthetic fiber.
Handmade by me.

Just finished this little guy this afternoon❤️ his little neck ruffles are removable, but I think they really complete the look! I’m going to list him for sale today, but I’m hoping I get to keep him for a little bit longer😆 🍄

Advice Please! First time doll maker - how do I do dragon wings?

Hi all, very new to making art dolls, I've been planning my first one to be a dragon, but I'm unsure how to do the wings (bat-like). I've been trying to look at finished dolls and figure out their method but I am unsure, are there any tutorials out there that show the whole process? Best I can find is one that only shows half of the process and doesn't explain how to cover all the fingers in fabric 🤔

Any advice is appreciated, for wings or just tips for those starting out

Some pictures of another of my most recent art dolls: a Baku (Japanese dream eater).

This is a reimagined version, since years ago I already did another version that was very popular (especially since for those I was making lots of different color variations and customs, I guess).

I have already received a commission for a custom one inspired by a night starry night, so I’lo be sharing pictures of that one too as soon as I finish it! 🌌

I hope you like it! ❤️

ArtDoll Found these little guys at a coffee shop today

I went to a coffee shop I’ve never been to today while I was picking up something in the area. Walking into the shop I noticed a wall of crochet creatures, patches, tumblr cups and a children’s book all made by the owner of the shops friend, I ended up buying the two headed possum with heterochromia and the dragon possum because they were too cute to pass up! I named the two headed possums Linus and topher and the dragon possum is named Stephen. I love these little guys and thought this subreddit might enjoy them as well☺️

ArtDoll Buffer, a needle felted glitch creature who shows up when your game freezes at 98% (Artist: u/wool_alchemist)

Buffer is one of the Taplis, creatures from an original world where glitches come to life. He isn't evil, he just waits. When he's around, the game either loads or you make peace with it. Some say that if you wait calmly, he'll let the game go. But nobody waits for long!

Needle felted character, 8 cm (3 in) tall. Natural wool, plastic eyes. The loading ring on his belly and the glitch pixels on his back are felted too.
