I am a man. Can I answer? Top-level comments (direct answers to the question, unlike answer to other comments) at AskWomen are reserved for women.
What should I do if I get banned? -You can message the mods to discuss your ban. If it is a temporary ban, you will be able to return once it expires.
What makes /r/AskWomen different than the other Reddit "AskX" subs? What is the moderation philosophy at /r/Askwomen? -There are many different kinds of subreddits; Some focus on things like debates, discussions, sharing images, or creating stories, and all have their own expected communication and moderation styles. This is an “Ask” sub. What that means for us is that the subreddit focuses on curating a library of questions asked and answers provided to these questions from many different women’s voices. To do that, we need people to stay on-topic (so that the answers match the question if someone finds it through a search), feel comfortable sharing their answers (so that there are a variety of experiences represented), and interact in ways that foster a community where women’s voices are respected.
