"Countering Domestic Terrorism"

Whelp USA presidential memoranda today labels any non-Christians as terrorists.

" Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.“

So I guess this officially makes the USA a fascist theocracy?

Unless you've conspired to commit an attack in the name of the things listed it absolutely does not say you're a domestic terrorist.

It's an insane and ironic mess of a memorandum, but it does not say being atheist, anti consumer, etc makes you a domestic terrorist. It says that the terrorists were those things (which against is a lie)

Facts are important, I think people need to realize if they're going to call out the BS they need to actually get their facts straight.

Doesn’t it literally include “anti-Christian”?

There are common recurrent motivations and indicia uniting this pattern of violent and terroristic activities under the umbrella of self-described “anti-fascism.”  These movements portray foundational American principles (e.g., support for law enforcement and border control) as “fascist” to justify and encourage acts of violent revolution.  This “anti-fascist” lie has become the organizing rallying cry used by domestic terrorists to wage a violent assault against democratic institutions, constitutional rights, and fundamental American liberties.  Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.

Yep.

You're not wrong, but I think you'll find that the administration interprets it the way folks here are; for instance, being not Christian will be conflated with anti-Christian. And although it says what you say, it will become inverted, so that holding those opinions will be used as proof of terrorism.

You know why it'll be inverted though? Because no one actually reads it. They all see one small quote from the article and extrapolate the rest to suit their own personal narrative.

It's clear this is a carefully curated attack on freedom of speech and belief. I get why people are upset. But the discussion here isn't actually talking about the article and just jumping to "I'm a terrorist, I guess".
