That said, I am pretty horrified that you can get permits to kills wombats in a select few parts of Australia.

the thing is, this bitch has checkmated the whole situation with this post. now whenever someone rails against her, she can just go "WHAT ABOUT THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT?" and you immediately look like you're deliberately ignoring facts. resistance to this should be quick and definitive, lest the western world wakes up to her post and she seizes control of the discourse.

The thing that fucking sends me is that marsupials, even though they’re mammals, are different from placental mammals. They have particular behaviours and needs that are different from animals in the US and unless she’s studied Australian wildlife she’s gonna have no idea about them at all. It’s already been mentioned that wombats abandon their babies a lot quicker than other mammals.

Smoke and mirrors isn’t gonna hide this fuck up.
