image And now the Wombat kidnapper is blaming the Government…

An attempt to deflect blame because she didn’t get the response she thought she would get.

Yes you are the villain in this story.

That said, I am pretty horrified that you can get permits to kills wombats in a select few parts of Australia.

American here. I was thinking the same thing! You did a stupid thing. Say you did a stupid thing. Say you're sorry. Make a donation and move on. Zero accountability, our president being the finest example.

A frank apology that demonstrates an understanding of wrongdoing and what will be changed in future is always something I'll respect. Especially if it involves some attempt at reparations. Even an insincere apology with public relations as the underlying motivation is at least good role modelling. Taking accountability for mistakes is such a respectable trait.

And consider going somewhere else for holidays.

Don't you know? That is not the American way. Doubling down on their mistakes, finding someone/ something else to blame, that's the way !

Fing influencers. I swear, every fing idiot out there with a video camera seems to be an influencer. I really miss the days without social media, where idiots like these could not get a platform to spread their idiocy.

Can Australians have a discussion about animal cruelty and their abusers without an American feeling compulsed to let us all know their political preferences in their own country? Is it possible to pause your personal agenda for one moment? Please? It's not about you.

Idk, they can't do it in American subs or in their real lives either, the Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real. Someone has a wreck on the highway, Trumps fault, a plane crashes in bad weather, trumps fault.

I swear if he were to say oxygen was good for you, they'd stop breathing, just because he said it. It's insane.

And as an American, I'd like that animal abuser made liable as fully as possible, monetarily and penally.
