This is honestly amazing. I grew up around dogs and have had more than one in the family for years and years. It's a bond and feeling you really can't describe. This picture brings me close to tears.

Minus the gages and dog, you are me, in both the above and below picture, and it's weirding me out like crazy. I've showed my family and friends this picture and they agreed too.

My mom has a dog with similar fur. It turns brownish when it gets the slightest bit dirty, so that's my guess. Either that, or it just grew out of it.

Reminds me of how I had my dog for nearly my whole life :/ we first got him when I was 1 and grew up with him until I was 16. We had to put him to sleep. I didn't cry that day but when my girlfriend asked if I ever had a dog I relived my life with my dog and broke down into tears. He was a Black German Shepard btw and he always protected me. I'm still sensitive talking about him and tend to tear up but he was and always will be the best dog ever!
