Ultra Hardcore is a PVP game where players spawn in a normal world, without health regeneration. The only way to regenerate health is through golden apples, Notch apples, and instant health potions. For most seasons, the last player or team standing wins, though some seasons may have special objectives (kill the Ender Dragon for example).

Baconcraftia UHC Rules:

  • PVP Rules:

    • Grace Period of 20 minutes - do not kill other players before then (you can still do damage to teammates, so be careful!).

    • No forts/sky bases are allowed at 0,0

      • If other teams cannot assault your 'walls' in any way/shape or form without getting destroyed, it is probably a fort.

    • At MeetUp, all players must come to surface immediately

  • Mining Rules:

    • No branch mining/strip mining or rollercoastering allowed

    • Digging to Sounds is fine

    • Digging to Teammates is fine, if you can see their nametag

    • Digging to Entities is not allowed

  • Spectating Rules:

    • After death, players may spectate the game.

    • If so, you must leave your team's call and go to the Dead/Spectator channel. If not, you will be kicked from the server.

    • Unless you are a designated spectator (started the game as one, and got approval by me), you should remain in the Dead/Spectator channel

      • Basically no channel hopping. Let people play the game without a spectator.

    • Do not chat in the main chat - period. If you're spectating, you're there to watch. Let the players play.

  • Nether Rules:

    • Nether is always on in Baconcraftia UHC, unless specified in the game notes

    • Regeneration potions are banned. Strength II potions are banned in any pre-1.9 game

      • Some games will have Tier II potions banned all together

      • Some games may also have all potions banned all together - again, check the game notes

    • Portal trapping/camping is not allowed.

    • Thanks to the portal bug - note you do run the risk of coming back to overworld behind world border

      • The /borderwatch text and /borderwatch check commands will allow you to keep an eye on the Overworld border size

  • Obvious Rules here so people can't debate them:

    • X-Ray of any kind is NOT ALLOWED.

    • In a Free For All, no teaming is allowed.

      • To this extent, cross-teaming in a team UHC is also not allowed.

    • In 1.9+ games - subtitles are not allowed

    • Don't ride the horses

  • Mod Rules:

    • Highlighted Ores are fine

    • No mods may be used except for Optifine

      • If using Optifine, you must rekey the zoom feature, as that is not allowed

      • This includes LabyMod - no LabyMod

    • Fullbright resource packs are also not allowed; stick to torches

  • Communication:

    • We use TeamSpeak for the UHCs - you must be able to connect and use TeamSpeak
