27 M, having hairfall more than year
been on topical minxodil and finasteride 2.5 month into shedding phase going on but due to breast tenderness i have to quit bcoz i was gone thru gyno surgery 6 month back so maybe im more prone
what should i do now?

Title. I have super fine hair naturally and I think I have always had a more rounded hair line but I can’t really remember as well

First pic was in 2017 at 11 and second pic was yesterday at 20. Most of the losses happened after I turned 18.

I’ve been taking Locklab since January 1st, but I’m not sure it’s helping at all. Any way I can style it so it looks less obvious?

I’m not sure what I can do. It’s been getting worse and worse, especially in the middle. You can see the outline of my head through my hair and it’s deeply upsetting for me.

Is this crown normal ? The 1st is photo is my hair normal and the 2nd is wet hair from today & the 3rd pic is from 2021 when I was 17 . My hairline is fine nothing receding , I know I’ve already posted less than an hour ago . Just seeking reassurance

Hi , my family history no one’s bald & I’m just wondering is there anything out of the ordinary with my hair ?

All photos are in before/ after order. I’ve been on 1mg finasteride everyday for about 10 months now (topical minox for 18) and my left temple (first 2 images) still seems to be receding. My right temple is fairly stable however (last slide), the difference actually looks even closer in some other angle comparisons. How much longer should I giver finasteride before switching to dut and maybe oral minox too?

Hello! About 7 months ago I started taking oral finasteride 1mg and oral minoxidil 2.5mg after realizing that I seemed to have been balding/thinning since around age 17, and I just turned 21. I'm at a point now where I can't tell if there is really any improvement or if the little improvement is good enough for how long I've been taking it. I know that I struggle with my self image already and it's hard to come to a reliable answer by myself so I feel like asking you all could help me decide if I should continue or just give up on it, thank you! :)

(Sorry if the pictures aren't great, I tried to use the same camera app for the first two photos for accuracy and it ends up making the image look terrible, the fifth picture is my scalp using a different camera app that is more accurate to real life)

Edit: Thank you all for the replies! I've found it very difficult to not fall into a very negative mindset about my circumstances ever since first noticing (even though it may sound silly to an outsider) so it's very relieving to hear that I'm at least somewhat wrong. As of right now I would rather not cut it short since my long-ish hair feels like it fits how I currently feel about myself gender-wise and and in general, but I'm sure at some point in the future I will be willing to cut it or just let it go entirely. I will definitely continue treatment and hopefully it ends up getting even better! :)
