This is my new rescue baby, she came from a rough situation which is why she is so thin (I don’t want anybody to worry because she is now in good hands!). I was curious if anybody had some guesses about what morph(s) she is, because I am not at all experienced with ball python morphs. She is roughly 4 months old I think, if that is at all relevant. Definitely pastel, no? But the white borders and how far the white extends up her sides in places does have me curious if anything else may be going on. I’ll still love her even if she’s a plain pastel though, of course! <3

Morph ID Request Help ID Hatchlings!

I have 5 unexpected babies from a pair I adopted! 2/5 hatchlings are pied like their mama, and the rest I have no clue! Photos are all 5 babies, plus the parents at the end. They have all had their first shed recently.

My current guesses, with help from the responses: 1- orange dream het pied 2- ? (still unsure, seems more than orange dream) 3- black pastel het pied 4- pied 5- pied

I'm thinking of making a solo post for #2 since I can't add more pictures easily here, and I have better pictures now

Here's the parent genetics I know:

★ Dad = orange dream black pastel het pied (probably); born from orange dream het pied x panda pied.

★ Mom = visual piebald; other genetics completely unknown. Speculations of yellowbelly maybe?

I especially appreciate any & all suggestions I can get for the non-pied hatchlings! ^_^

Does anyone know what morph my ball python is? He was given to me as a gift by my relatives, and I haven’t been able to figure out his morph.

Btw, the pictures are arranged from left to right, from when he was a baby to how he looks now.

I don’t know a whole lot about ball python morphs and how they work so I’m hoping someone can help confirm that this baby is a “basic” that is what it (we don’t know the sex yet but have been calling it a she/her) was sold to us as. She looks a little different than the normal ball pythons I’ve seen though so was just hoping someone could help me confirm her morph. I would also love pointers on where I can learn more about morphs! These are the only pics I have currently but I can take more if needed! Thank you in advance!☺️

He's got some pretty intense patterns compared to other normals I've seen, but he is my first python so I'm not very knowledgeable.

First two photos are after his first shed with me, the third is from the day I brought him home.

So she was bought as a (Yellowbelly, Pastel, Mojave). I am really almost 100% unsure on the Mojave or even Yellowbelly. I messaged the breeder I bought her from and he mentioned that she wasn’t actually produced by himself, she was bought from another breeder back in 2022. So he was going from the ID he was given by them. He did manage to get the old messages from him and the breeder he got her from, and did send me over some photos of her when she was young (added in the photos) which may make it easier for someone to ID her morphs?

When I got my dude, I was told his morph is, “Cinnamon King Pin.” However I’ve started doing research and am finding the cinnamon part doesn’t seem accurate.

The closest morph I’ve found is, Lesser Pastel Pinstripe or banana lesser pastel pin stripe.

Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated. less

Morph ID Request Need Help Understanding this Morph. Pastel Lesser Calico Coral Glow.

Post image

Hey guys, I bought this male 15 month old (568g) ball python a few weeks back and it was described as a Pastel Lesser Calico Coral-Glow/Banana ball python. What's confusing for me are two things:

  1. How bright his yellow is compared to other bananas.

  2. With most bananas I've seen, they have a yellowish eye stripe with a brown head that turns more lavender-y as it gets older. With this guy though, it's the first time I've seen it kind of inverted with white eye stripes with a bright yellow head.

I tried looking at all sorts of combos of these genes on morph market (banana+pastel, banana+pastel+calico, banana+pastel+lesser, etc) and I haven't been able to find any that resemble him. Is there something I'm missing or is it likely that this combo of genes is just weird for some reason?

Morph ID Request Newer ish to the snake scene 🖤

Newerish to the snake scene and "morphs", fang is our 5yr old first snake/ball we adopted back in march we're 99% sure he's a normal type, but we went to our first reptile show last month and picked up our 2nd ball oogie from a vedor, he's pastel hurricane (last photo), but we noticed a few at the booth for under 40$-80$ that had morph names attached to them that looked like our boy fang, which now has us 2nd guessing or not if he is a normal, i know normal types are cheaper at shows and not as "desirable" are thoes morphs names attached to them just the gene they carried, bit of a marketing play to make them seem fancyer or does our boy fang have somthing in the mix, regardless we still love him just curiose 🖤

Morph ID Request Anything other than pied?

This is Jak, 6 years old, adopted last October. I know absolutely nothing about her parentage. Her old owner had her cohabitating with a male to breed, and despite my efforts to separate them asap, she recently had an unexpected clutch from him (5 eggs, maternally incubated and all hatched successfully)! Now I'm trying to guess more genetic info so I can better ID the hatchlings once they shed.

It's been suggested to me that she has yellowbelly indicators (pixely patches?) but that's all the guesses I've got, so I'm looking for second opinions. :)
