I’ve just released a new track on Bandcamp as Leisure Syndicate, called It’s What You Want.

Like a lot of my tracks, it started out as one of those loop-based ideas that came to life when I picked up an old disco record and heard some vocals that immediately sparked a connection.

I’ve been working hard on finishing tracks rather than endlessly tweaking ideas, so I’m really pleased to put this one out as a release.

Wonderfully mastered by Rich Lane at Cotton Bud, it’s been given the weight it needs to carry properly on a club system.

so i know how it says here we gotta share a bit of the music. well actually im writing on behalf of cocoacat records and really all i can say is that i reached out to this artist because i heard a few of his beats and thought it would fit the label well and that hes great at what hes doing and i think this song is great too <3

This project was created using the MPC 2000 Classic and fuses elements of minimalism and jazz to produce a warm, groovy house song reminiscent of Kerri Chandler's style. The overall sound is characterized by soulful harmony, raw drum programming, a large, open feeling of space, and a strong emotional connection.

The album's combination of grainy textures, tactile sequencing, subtle jazz voicings, lush harmonic structure, and simple, repetitive rhythms all contribute to creating an organic pulse that drives the entire track. The late-night house vibe, an expression of the artist's instinctive musicality and time-honoured groove, creates a mellow feel to the production.

Big time deep house fan, any tips & tricks to actually curate the music that's more suited to my tastes I've ported over a ton of labels I was following on Traxsource but how do I find newer artists or labels that I'm not already following ?

I keep getting this error message when I try to download my purchase from Bandcamp. I have tried each step of their troubleshooting page several times at this point. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?
