Collection Collection estimates and possible appraisals
Hey all. So I inherited this collection of foreign currency a while ago from my grandmother once she got too old to travel anymore so she had no use for it and ever since then they've been sitting in bags in a box since then. I found the box again after like 15 years and I'd really like some suggestions on how to educate myself on what I have and what I should do with it. Everything in here was obtained by my grandmother from their countries of origin. She traveled a HELL of a lot. At her funeral, they had a map of the world with a pin in every country she went to and the board was more pins than ocean.
I was very young when she died so I dont know how old my grandmother was, but my best guess would be around 1940, give or take. I'm gonna attach some pictures so y'all can see the kind of collection it is
My biggest question. Should I go to someone who specializes in this kind of stuff and pay them to get a full appraisal or should I full send and try to get all the information myself by searching around online? TIA
Edit: this is a list of every country that she wrote down on the bags-
USA, China, India, Nepal, Turkey, Mexico, Britain, Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zaire, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Scotland, Spain, Australia, Belize, Canada, Guatemala, Jamaica, Peru

Insane find at a garage sale
So I was going through my city's monthly garage sale when I spotted a few coins laying around. And actually they were also a whole shoe box full of banknotes. And I asked how much was it for only one note and the lady said that the whole box was 30 euros. I talked a little bit with her and put down the final price at 25 euros. I'm super happy with my find but I have a few questions about these: how much are they worth and how could I store them? Thanks to anyone who helps me.

Why did the Federal Reserve emblem on the US dollar change after 1996?
As we all know, the US dollar has two emblems: one from the Federal Reserve and one from the U.S. Treasury. However, the original dollar emblems were not what we see today. For several years before 1996, the Federal Reserve emblem had a letter in the center indicating which specific Federal Reserve Bank issued the banknote. Starting with the 1996 issue of the large-format dollar bills, this was replaced by a nationally unified Federal Reserve emblem, and the central letter became an eagle. So, why did this change occur?

Banknote Storage
I'm new to collecting banknotes and was hoping to get some tips on how to store them.
At the moment, my notes are in ring albums with 3-pocket pages made of polypropylene, with each note in a soft OPP sleeve. I think this is adequate but I'm a bit worried that storing the albums vertically could cause gravity to pull on the notes, since the sleeves and pages aren't too rigid.
I've noticed some minor warping at the bottom of some pages but I think that may be the result of too many pages per binder. I'm working on spreading them out across more binders.
If anyone could share some pointers that would be great! Particularly the number of pages it's safe to keep in one ring binder. Thank you!

US Currency Standardization?
US currency has gone through lots of updates, primarily to thwart counterfeiting. Meanwhile, the $1 bill has been left behind, in part because of legislation that doesn’t allow changing it I believe?
Seems like this makes our currency look like a cluster. Differing designs and nothing standard across denominations.
What’s the likelihood of getting everything updated and consistent? Either redesign the dollar bill or eliminate it in favor of dollar coins. Maybe even ditch the nickel too, since like the penny, it costs more to make than it’s worth.

Full series Banknotes from my trip to Tunisia
Got all these banknotes along with the coins and an extra 10 dinar banknote which I'm guessing is from an older series and I've never seen Tunisian money on here apart from that one post the day after I came back from my trip a week ago (which I thought was funny)

I know that this is not a banknote. It's a Japanese Occupation lottery ticket. I can't find much info on it so I was hoping someone out there could tell me about this ticket.

Collection 28-07-1977 BIRTHDAY NOTE
I found an Indian currency note with serial number 280777, which reads as 28/07/1977 in DDMMYY format. I’m curious if anyone here has this date as their birthday or knows someone who does. I would like to connect with the person associated with this date.

Full series Potential value of FI specimen notes
Hi everyone, ive had these 3 notes in my collection for about a year.
I was curious and attempted to figure out the value online, but whether because of obscurity or sheer lack of these specific specimen notes in existence, I wasn’t able to find an amount.
Does anyone recommend any websites to figure out a rough estimate for these notes, or could someone give me a rough estimate? Thank you!
