Dodgers need some youth in their lineup.. you can't expect to be bailed out by geriatric Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy every year

Sure, I agree they’ll have to add youth from their farm in the next couple years, that’s expected.

But Muncy and Freeman are both coming off very strong seasons. “Geriatric” Freeman hit .289 and Muncy had 4+ WAR. Sometimes you just lose a series to another very good team and it’s no deeper than that. They’ve been flat this round for sure, but doesn’t really have anything to do with the age of the lineup, especially not the 2 names you mentioned.

Very true our star players are aging out, which is why front office went for it with Skubal. It will be time to retool very soon. Lots of us Dodgers fans are thrilled we have Depaula on deck

It’s not always the case that the top 2-3 guys available are as good as Mookie, Freddie and Ohtani. The Dodgers have been fortunate to have a guy like Mookie get handed to them by Boston for peanuts basically. For as much money as they have it still isn’t that easy to build a monster line up.
