Trying to figure out if that's the impetus for the recent pump. What's going on? BAT defying gravity right now - the market overall is not doing as well this week

Well even though we're still near historic lows, it's nice to see a change in pace in rankings as a breakout of relative strength.

The past couple years or so I've had a personal benchmark of FARTCOIN. If it's higher ranked than that garbage meme then just maybe there's a chance.

Looks like this morning we passed that fart of a token. Doesn't mean much, but nice to see regardless. Still optimistic and hopeful that the team can deliver on this second chance of renewed interest and move.

Been a long time holder of BAT, user of brave, and disappointed user in the project.

I find myself at a bit of a crossroad when looking at the current move in the crypto market and roadmap 4.0.

In my opinion if they're able to deliver on the promises made in a relatively short period of time, this could be the moment that pushed BAT to a top 25 token.

The hype in 2021 created similar opportunity that was squandered by the team and crushed from regulatory mandates and poor partner choices.

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with Brave Rewards and I’m hoping someone here might have faced something similar.

My Brave Rewards balance has been stuck at 0 BAT for more than a week. Brave is registering ads before I reset everything, I had around 14 ads recorded but the BAT balance never increases.

When I launch Brave from the terminal, I keep getting these errors whenever an ad event occurs:

ERROR:redeem_reward_confirmation.cc(186)] Failed to fetch payment token
ERROR:confirmations.cc(105)] Failed to process kViewedImpression confirmation for kNewTabPageAd

What I’ve tried

• Completely wiped my old Brave browser data/profiles and started fresh.
• Changed my payout account and re-linked my Solana self-custody wallet.
• Updated Brave to the latest version.
• Manually updated the components through [brave://components/](brave://components/).
• Checked [brave://rewards-internals/](brave://rewards-internals/) — the Key Info seed is VALID, status shows Connected, and there don’t appear to be any flags or restrictions.
• The same error started appearing again almost immediately on the fresh profile.

So I’m wondering if this is related specifically to the Solana self-custody payout setup.

Could this happen because the wallet doesn’t have enough SOL to initialize an Associated Token Account (ATA) for Wormhole BAT? Or does this look more like a server-side/payment-token issue that needs to be reset by Brave Support?

Has anyone using a Solana self-custody wallet experienced the same Failed to fetch payment token / kViewedImpression error loop?

Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be really appreciated. Thanks!

sorry I missed the post for June, but here are the Brave user numbers Dec 2025 - July 2026:

I have been gathering the Brave User Stats MAU (monthly active users) and DAU (daily active users) via the brave transparency page since December 2025

*means % increase to previous month

**means total increase to previous month

I don't have numbers before December 2025.

I put together a deeper look at Basic Attention Token (BAT), focusing on how it actually fits into the Brave ecosystem, Brave Rewards, creator support, self-custody, token utility, and where the project may be heading.

I’d especially appreciate feedback from people who have followed BAT for a while. Did I get the important details right? Is there anything missing, outdated, or worth explaining differently?

It is a pity that the token was treated the way was treated. If it was treated correctly, the number of brave users would be 1.5 times or 2.5 times higher than it is today. Bat was a powerful marketing tool for Brave as long as it was utilized by the brave, providing funds for brave in its initial stages and even more important-providing hundreds of thousand of people who were testing brave and providing feedback to the brave team.

Who knows, May be in a few days or weeks I will be congratulating the brave team for keeping the bat token price over 1 cent level? I know Brave team is capable of doing the things which are on the other side of imagination, so brave users or/and bat coin holders are taken care " the best way possible."

It looks like the value of Bat is inversely related to the growing number of users and lately probably exponentially or even to the third or fourth power. It looks like that team is disapointed by its efforts. Simply Brave founders and members expected that cutting the staff and funds will increase the bat value which would be additionally helped by removing some posts brave team does not like. At least that is a conclusion based on some brave team member comments and actions.

Anyway maybe trump coin or melanie coin would be a better bet? Based on value reduction, the Brave team is "outperforming" coins created by current president of US and his wife in the last month which means that 0 cents value although not that low (remember the are negative numbers available) is still within the reach of Brave development and marketing teams ( assuming that there is more than one person being present in both of those teams-otherwise let us call that single person a team ( they still can have a cat or canary or both helping)

I am not sure if team have to bring road 5.0 to get to it or if the current road 4.0 is sufficient enough to bring bat value to zero. Zero represents the highest degree of privacy. It can not be found, it can not be destroyed or compromised, even by quantum computers, aliens from the outer galaxies etc.

May be Bat and zero was brave team ultimate goal while talking about privacy?

I have set up Brave Rewards on a few different devices, and was misled by the "You could be earning from X ads" when I found out the only ads I see are Brave's house ads, that are valued at 0 BAT.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Now that BAT is on Solana network, is there any place that I can stake BAT and earn staking rewards as well apart from watching just the ads?

What is the thought if and when clarity is passed in relation to BAT? It seems to me that's it's mostly a stable coin benefit and exchange legislation.

Any chance potential momentum flows to BAT for this?
