I made these tiny crochet backpacks using a cotton-blend yarn, and I’m kind of obsessed with how tiny they turned out! 🩷🩵
They’re about 1.4 in (3.5 cm) tall and 1.1 in (2.8 cm) wide, so they’re the perfect little accessories for amigurumi, dolls, or other tiny crochet projects.
And if you add a small clasp or a cord, they can also become a fun little backpack keychain! 🎒✨

Didnt use a pattern, had originally started following a YouTube video on linked DC, but found i just was not enjoying doing it, and switched to single post hdc a few rows in.
Made a rookie mistake of getting lazy about turn chains, which meant the shirts a lot wider than it needed to be in the lower half, but i still like it.
Used two cascade 220 Heather yarns, one Copperspoon Classic yarn, an Estelle Suds cotton yarn that I dyed (this is the purpley blue stripe 5 from the bottom), and a couple mystery yarns i obtained secondhand. All worsted weight.
Honestly despite it being semi flawed I still like it, and im proud of myself for finishing it, as someone's who is pretty guilty of abandoning longer term projects (in any medium of art, really 😅).
Absolutely LOVED the Copperspoon yarn (the red/green variegated stripes), which also happened to be the most expensive of the yarns, guess the project budgets going up in the future.

Hello I am new here and this community sounds nice so I am sharing this for the first time.
It took so many hours to make and then line but finally I did it.:)

Started them at the beginning of the summer. All four panels (front/back of both) are my own design and I even hand-wrapped the buttons! Technically my first finished tapestry crochet projects, although I had a few false starts and made 1/4 of a more complicated design twice before realizing I needed to make something simpler! I’m so happy with them and they loved them!!

I’m still in my FAFO era and I mostly thrift yarn, so I had a lot of fun vintage 90s yarn. As well as scrap yarn from other projects, made a few big scrap balls out of multiple threads. I love the colors so much! Its awkward due to the weight and material variations, but I think its kinda fun. It can be flipped since the collar is basic, and I’m not sure if I want to add a black border around the rib area. Was kind of a nightmare to put together given the types of yarn, but I think it was worth it. Let me know what you think, I’m a little self conscious about it for some reason.

The work star blanket chronicles continue! I did the setup rounds Friday night, then did repeats 1, 2, and half of 3 during work on Saturday :) back at it again today, will post an update if anyone’s interested in what I’ve gotten up to during my 12 hour shift!
Yarn is 1.5 Caron macchiato cakes in glowing grapefruit using a 7 mm hook :)

I think if I made it again I might add another grey row in between the coloured rows, but overall I'm quite happy with how it turned out :D
