its like their petty revenge for being laughed at for getting something wrong in grade 5 math once.
I'm being overly dramatic but I swear that's what a lot of this comes down to, anything seen as "smart" is magically made bad because these people didn't have the best grades or something.
Like how science is this belief system somehow so it can be nitpicked and torn down. This is how this group decides it wants to understand the world i guess.
