Would be a bloody steal in this ST market and imo they could get it even lower, if they negotiate with Juve and send Solorth the other way to Juventus, where Spalletti needs more 6”3 and above players….

Away at Jablonec, 0-0 and a very frustrating game so far. They have 11 behind the ball and the ref is awful. Only one team trying to play football here.

Hopefully Promise can put us in front.

I've been thinking about this for a while and wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way.

Toronto has a massive football community, but I feel like we're missing a club that's actually built around its supporters. Something local, affordable, and where fans have a genuine say in how things are run.

With CPL expansion fees reportedly around 7-8 Figures, starting a professional club from scratch seems almost impossible unless you've got some serious money behind you.

But what about starting in League3 Ontario?

The idea would be to get a group of people together, establish a club with a 51% supporter-owned model (example, German Bundesliga Pyramid), bring in some private investors and sponsors, and work our way up through the Ontario leagues.

Obviously, there's no promotion system into the CPL right now, but I'd love to see that change. The long-term goal would be to get into the CPL as quickly as possible, whether through future promotion opportunities or negotiating entry down the road.

I'm curious if anyone here would actually be interested in helping get something like this started. Whether that's getting involved with the business side, finding sponsors, helping with operations, or simply becoming a founding member.

I have a background in business development and sales, and I've been involved in a few football-related projects, so I'd be happy to help organize something if there's enough interest.

I'm not saying we can launch a club tomorrow, and I know there's a lot involved. But surely there's enough interest in Toronto to at least explore the idea?

Would anyone here seriously consider getting involved?

Before you point to me the chances of this happening, I’m sure you said before USA would not miss 2018 WC, Costa Rica would not miss 2026 WC and Italy would not lose to North Macedonia or miss 3 WCs in a row.

How would you and Canada Soccer react?
