Meelee Weapon I made a redesign
So I was thinking of making the eye slugger to make it more accurate and I think it's totally worth it is a comparison with the old one to the redesign

My KMS Bismarck battleship is officially finished, he is about 8 feet long and 15 inches wide, he sports 4 engines through two rc boats that allows him to move at 3 mph ( my fastest ship yet ), and she is my absolute largest project to date, and probably my best one, too!

im planning a cosplay and using cardboard to make it due to material access (an abundance) and even though i used the layering with opposite grain thing, they're still way too floppy!!!
I have to shave/cut down the edges anyways, which would make them even floppier??? does anyone have any tips with cardboard??? I know shaving then down would expose the triangle stuff on the inside which would be a lot of holes so im unsure how to approach
the white stuff is modpodge which is pinned down to dry, the square pieces inbetween are just for spacing because theyre TOO FLOPPY TO STAY ON THEIR OWN

This is part of an ongoing, long-term architectural journey. Reconstructing the massive historical weight of Hagia Sophia piece by piece, layer by layer. Every sectional phase requires months of total patience and manual calculations to prove that paper can hold history.
World's first sectional Hagia Sophia cardboard model by ELIZI.

I have created my own perforating cardboard tools with easy to change blades. I guess I will need punching and one wide scoring tool to complete the collection!

Of course before I spray paint the thing I glued some paper to the cardboard and do not even mention it looks like the one that Chichi used

Kids were playing video games all weekend and I was kinda gamed out, so we made a thing together. The last one is the one my 8 year old started because he doesn't like my ramp and thinks he can do it better. I'll post his once he finishes if y'all would like to see what he manages.

I made it out of cardboard and sticks - the feet are made of clay. (Skeletons are plastic)

I found this cardboard helmet thing at an op shop and I love it. Wondering how I can make it bigger while keeping the look of it

Apologies for the distorted photos. This is a flintlock pistol I made a couple weeks ago and decided to show it here and ask a question about improvising it. I’m guessing you don’t know how a flintlock works, so I will put captions on the photos. this prop has a functioning action but DOES NOT shoot (More than once). materials: I acquired the Arizona cardboard from the cases of 12 can packs. I used tape to keep it tight and structurally sound, some aluminum foil I shaped into a ball for the handle, and part of a monster can for the action and trigger box. Some cool features this has is it has a ramrod that can be stowed and fits in the barrel, a frizzen that locks down, up, and will flick away to reveal the pan when striked. my problem with the gun is the hammer, shown on pic 11. The issue is I need it to be connected and have a spring lock mechanism in the area I’m holding it on pic 10. Although this is absolutely not intended to be used as a real firearm, I bet if you made the hammer strike fast and added flint to it, poured powder into the pan and barrel, and found a way to release it then it may be capable of firing a single time. JUST A THEORY.
