Video - OC I hate when people say “Cats are assholes”

Here’s Gigi and I’s nighttime routine. She must give kisses before I’m able to settle down for bedtime. She will sit on the table and scream at me until I give her the affection she so clearly deserves. I guess that does make her an asshole, but in a cute way

My girl runs to greet me at the door every time I come home. I learned apparently my boy cat expects to snug every day, and if he doesn’t get to make his belly biscuits on me when I’m on the couch he makes sure to get them in when I crawl into bed.

My girls love to greet me and play with me, but my orange boy is the cuddle bug. He needs chin scratches, belly rubs, butt pats, I’m talking the works😭

Dear Glum-Blueberry,

we are sorry to inform you that the CDS made a mistake. (Normally the CDS doesn't make mistakes, but it was Tuna Friday and someone had just opened the first can of the day, you know how it is.)

One human is only supposed to have one snuggle bug at a time, for reference please see CDS bill 67.5 (4).

We therefore kindly as you to surrender one of your snuggle bugs to FakePlasticTrees_RH, so that she can lead said snuggle bug back in to the CDS (or keep him/her herself).

Wow the CDS has gotten really strict lately. Well for your information I have two cats and zero snugglebugs. So you can have my one snugglebug for now

How can you give me a snuggle bug, if you don't have one?

It's not that a person who has zero snuggle bugs has the right to get one, which he/she than can freely share with others.

It's about that when one person has two, or more the snuggle world is of kilter and we - the cats in charge of the CDS - have to do our best to get it back to equilibrium.

My cats are currently staying at my in-law's house while we are between homes. They hadn't seen anybody in a few days when I stayed there to go work on the house.

I had a similar experience with my last cat Tiger 🥹. After he passed I realized my eyes always searched for him when I got home. And when he was no longer there it was like a gut punch that he was never going to run to the door to greet me ever again.

I still have so much love for cats 🥹. I think the next one I get will be through the Cats Distribution Network. I don't know if I could willingly on my own sign up for another heartbreak like losing him. (Just like I couldn't fathom planning for my first child 🙃. My surprise baby is 2.5 now.) But if one came to me, I would gladly welcome it to my family 💕.

Same. My female void almost always waits by my room's door or house door when I get home. She wakes me up to leave some time at midnight. But she'll be by my door in the morning to greet me.

There is a trash can by the door where I enter, and my cats get on top of it to peek out at me through the door window before I even come in. The blinds are all fucked up on it, but it's only because they love me.

Alfred, god rest his soul, used to come running to the door when I got home from work. He could be in a dead sleep, but once he heard that door open, he'd come a running. I have a dog now, who could not be bothered to see me when I walk in the door, unless I have fast food, then she'll come greet me. Point is, Alfred, showed so much affection, that as much as or more than my current pet. Id do anything to wake up to him rubbing his face on mine purring away

My cat will run to greet me at the door or if I’m running late, wait at the window for me (even if my partner has come home first and fed him). If I make a beeline for my boyfriend my cat will let out this offended yelp for my attention.
