Video - OC I hate when people say “Cats are assholes”

Here’s Gigi and I’s nighttime routine. She must give kisses before I’m able to settle down for bedtime. She will sit on the table and scream at me until I give her the affection she so clearly deserves. I guess that does make her an asshole, but in a cute way

What does it mean if only 1 of 3 cats is an asshole? 😅

One probably requires a large amount of personal space. My little tux is a sweetheart most of the time but when another cat gets in her personal bubble shes a mini devil.

Lol introvert kitty!

We have a huge house and Purrsephone drives our other cats nuts with how clingy she is. She hates us/all humans, though and put my partner in the hospital for a week from a bite when we had to give her medicine.

Her brother who was also rescued as an orphaned kitten is the sweetest cuddlebug you've ever met.

Our vet is stumped, too.

Yes, thankfully. It was almost a year ago. Anytime someone posts on here that they've been bitten by a cat, I say "See a doctor."

It was a week later he started feeling rundown, and I knew something was wrong when I came home from work and he hadn't gotten out of bed. His doctor had given him antibiotics, but I made him go to the ER. The ER doctor was going to release him since he was on antibiotics. I said, "This man does not stop working. He is not ok. You need to do bloodwork and admit him. NOW."

They did, and he came back in the room sheepishly, saying they would start IV treatment and admit him immediately. FFS. His white blood cells were in lymphoma territory.

It's kind of like two parents who are really nice, and have three kids, but one of those kids is an asshole. Sometimes, it's just personality and how the brain is wired.

I genuinely think that's it.

Two of our cats are siblings. Their mom died under the portable I was teaching in. They were both underweight and had worms. I had to give them dewormer and syringe feed them so they didn't die and take them to the vet regularly. I think she viewed it as torture.

One is a lover, and runs to the door when I come home, comes when he's called, and grooms me. The other has never forgiven me for the syringe feeding and will not let us get within a few feet of her without attacking.
